The Gift Of Giving

Chapter 13

Giving is one of the easiest and most worthwhile things anyone can do for another person, Why? Because it is the one thing that can make you and other's happiest, Also giving the giver the feeling of accomplishment.

The gift of giving can also be most meaningful and even lifesaving  if given at the right time, see the thing about giving a gift it need not cost a dime which means the whole world is capable of gift giving, Even animal's practice it!

What is this gift you can give for free? It is giving in it's truest form and come's from inside you within your heart and is the greatest act of love for any living thing on the planet showing them love, Kindness, Compassion and spending time on them, Contemplate that how would you feel if someone just gave you their full undivided attention instead of telling you they don't have time for this, And how about just letting someone in the line go before you!

The gift of a hug oh Lord we all know how good a hug is! Some days they are better than other's of course be careful on this one, In this day and age it is a risk and some may see it in another way.

All I am saying is not all gift's need to be made or purchased in a store, Even if you are feeling sceptical about all this (which is your given right too) we all have something to give another in this world that cost's nothing but a moment of time and is the best of all the gift's, You see when we give time we are giving a part of ourselves away a part we will never get back! We are giving some of our life! Our time is limited on this planet so when you give time it's gone forever but remember you are giving them your time as they are giving you their's.

It is said to give is the way to receive give more to receive more I may have covered this in part in an earlier chapter, The best way to give any gift is without expectation of a return from giving, In other words: "I gave you something now give me something"!!!  When you give from the heart you can feel the reward instantly within your energy or soul and the release of endorphin's you know the feeling right?

In this day and age there is another type of giving I am seeing on social media and to me seem's more 'Ego'  based than anything else it is where individuals walk around and find someone down on their luck and give's them food or clothing, Money whatever you get the picture while this gesture is good the whole time they have someone recording it to place on their social media to increase the follower base they have.(They are giving to get something in return and to boost their ego)!

Life's gift of giving is very simple, 

If you want to experience more happiness, give happiness, if you want more unconditional love, learn to give love unconditionally, if you want attention and appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation to others. These are some of life's most precious gifts and the only thing they will cost is a little time!

How would you rather spend this time you have? Seeing love and happiness I know I would.
