*For the Younger audience this chapter isn't advised*
Notice: I can't believe I found a pic of Adelaide Kane (Ivy) online like this, it suits the chapter perfectly! She is a beauty <3
Henry: Alcohol and a hot steamy bath with Ivy. What could go wrong? Hum, everything?! I was far from ready to jump with her to the same tub, but I knew I wanted it more than anything in the world.
She showed me her true shades when she proposed our next little adventure, beneath bubbles and heated water.
I could already imagine myself struggling with the grip her figure held over me. How hard would it be to stop me from pulling closer and just grab her once and for all?!
The attraction was undeniable and if I thought it was hard to control my impulses while holding her in the front of the yacht, or having her treat my broken body by fever, I wondered how it would be having her naked in front of me. God, no! Maybe she wasn't going to be naked, perhaps a bikini. I wish she didn't take one...Jesus, what the hell am I thinking?!
I conjured Amy's advice in my mind's eye. "You need to embark on a new story, and it's okay if this one doesn't look like your latest. People should stop trying to mimic their best moments in life and enjoy new ones." That was so true, yet so hard. I guess that's how people just work, including me. Unconsciously I brought Ivy to Malibu and planed the perfect date just as I would with Lauren. It annoyed her, I could see it in her eyes. I knew I had to make up for my mistake, and here she was showing me exactly what I needed to do.
I couldn't say no to the champagne and the hot tub. She trapped me, damn, she's smart. If I said no, she wouldn't forgive me for trying to compare our trip to my vacations with Lauren, and if I said yes, I was moving things to a whole new level. One I didn't know any of us was ready for.
And there it was. That spark in her hazel eyes, that smirk in her red petals taken for lips that just screamed passion all over me. I thought I was imagining things back in San Francisco, but now, as she leans closer to me holding a seductive gaze, an irresistible aura, I just know, I know she endlessly craves for me.
"Fine, that sounds great. I'll fetch the champagne." I said, swallowing hard after that. The weight of my words crushed my stomach hard and I tried my best not to scream that moment away due to fear.
"Great, I'll prepare the water." She said, placing her hands on the pockets of her tiny pajama that highlighted her breasts. Gosh, it was hard to focus with a vision like that, I wondered how it would be, naked in a hot tub as she wastes me with expensive champagne.
Damn it, Ivy, you're a smart ass!
Holding my hand of the bargain, I went to the fridge and fetched the champagne bottle just as I promised.
I took my sweet time, trying to think about the million case scenarios that could unfold in that hot tub.
Like a scared little boy, I was even about to call Amy to ask her advice, no matter how awkward my situation was.
I picked two chalices, so bright that the crystal in it reminded me of Cinderella's shoes. A bucket with ice and a cleaning cloth, for no apparent reason.
In my mind's eye, unfolded the million case scenarios that could take place in that tub, and all of them involved lots of kissing and possibly steamy hot sex.
Wow, I never thought I'd find myself like this again. Thinking about romance, kissing and stuff. It's been so long. Ever since Lauren died my heart shut down for all of that stuff. For years I know nothing about having my heart racing, feeling every fiber of my body in touch with someone special, engulfing in the thrill it was, being pulled just like a magnet towards someone magnificent.
