Minhyun was storming down the hallways to his father's dungeon but first he headed to the training field. Any guard or maid who saw him gasped and scattered, none of them went near him or even greeted them. They were all scared. Firstly because they weren't sure if he was a ghost. Secondly he just had a very deadly aura now. He entered the training field, startling all the knights who were practicing. He grabbed a sword from the rack and left in a rush, leaving everyone inside stun and questioning their eyes.

With the sword in hand, he made his way to his father's dungeon. Oddly enough, it was a smooth walk there. No one tried to stop him or do anything as he ran down the stairs to the dungeon. He got to his father's personal dungeon and ordered the guard sitting there to open it. The guard was more flustered than anyone else and without a second thought, popped the lock open for him. Minhyun walked in and the stench of blood hit his nose. He cringed and fought against hurling up as he noticed the helpless figure chained up. His deadly aura disappeared in a flash as he dropped the sword. He rushed over and dropped to his feet, not caring if his pants or clothes would be stained by the blood. He held the other's face gently in his hands. How he missed him. His heart throbbed painfully when he realised the other was unconscious.

"Baekho," he said softly in a shaky voice. He wanted to hug the other but his eyes fell on all the open wounds and scars littered all over his body. There was also the same bar gag over his mouth and blood stains at the corners of his mouth. He felt both anger and sadness fighting one another in his mind. He held back his cries and breathed, turning sharply to the guard as he removed the gag. "Give me the keys now!"

"I-i-I-i don't h-have them!" The guard squeaked. Minhyun got up and picked up the sword. "W-what are you d-doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm getting him out of course," Minhyun growled and looked for a weak spot in the chains before striking it. It broke apart like a string and it fell onto the ground, bringing half of Baekho's weight down with it. That woke him up as Minhyun went to do the same with the other side. The guard was too stunned to act so he just stood there shaking. Baekho was confused and didn't have the energy to think for awhile but warm hands cupped his cold cheeks again, carefully lifting it so he could look into the other's eyes. It startled him, made him thought he was dreaming. He frantically pulled Minhyun into a hug, not wanting to lose him again even if this was just a dream but the pain as his wounds touched Minhyun's clothes were real. He flinched and let go, staring at Minhyun who gave him a weak smile.

"Hey... How are you?" Minhyun asked, holding back his tears. Baekho gaped at the other, unsure what to say but his tears spilled much faster. He made incoherent noises and held onto Minhyun's cardigan, finding his tears again.

"This... Isn't a dream right?" He asked in his cracked voice that made Minhyun's heart break. What happened to him? Minhyun patted his head gently, noticing the black that took over most of the blonde.

"No, it's not. I'm alive, Baekho. And I'm here to get you out before my father finds out," he replied. Baekho snapped his head up, reminded of the situation and wiped his tears away quickly. He nodded. "Can you stand?"

"Yes." Minhyun slowly helped him up. He stumbled a little but Minhyun kept a steady hold on him while keeping the sword in his other hand.

"I'm so sorry that I'm so late," Minhyun said but Baekho shook his head.

"You still... came for me," he said tiredly. He felt a burst of relief in his chest to see Minhyun alive and most of all, looking actually kind of healthy compared to his tattered worn down look. "I... I really thought..."

"They wanted me dead. They almost got me dead," Minhyun replied. "My sister gave me poison. The arrow didn't kill me but the poison did knock me out at the same time. I'll explain later. For now, let's just get as far away as we can from here."

Baekho couldn't even argue with Minhyun as they both stumbled out from the dungeon and up the stairs. The guard just stood there, unable to do anything but to let Minhyun through. They got to the top and Baekho's body started shivering from the contact of air with his wounds. Minhyun pursed his lips. They had to keep moving regardless before any of his family members came after them.

Thankfully, their lifesaver appeared. Her eyes widened unimaginably as she saw Minhyun. She had heard the maids screaming of ghosts and that he was back to haunt them and had quickly left to find him, knowing the first place he would probably go was to Baekho. She quickly helped Minhyun with Baekho's weight although she wasn't the strongest.

"I'll bring you to the passage I told you of before. You can leave there quickly and unnoticed," She said and Minhyun nodded.

"Thank you," he said with a gentle smile.

"You're really my lifesaver, you know that?" Baekho managed to chuckle. The maid couldn't help but smile too as she quickly avoided all the visible spots and led them to kitchen. She quickly packed light clothes, bandages, medicine, water and some food before handing it to Minhyun.

"I wish the best of luck to the both of you. I'll try to hold them back as much as I can if anyone gets suspicious," She said, carefully helping the two of them to the secret passageway.

"I can't thank you enough for this," Minhyun said. "I'm really sorry too."

"Prince... Maybe you can come back someday once everything turns out better. We could have tea together," She said cheerfully instead. Minhyun felt guilty for leaving the other behind but it would be harder to travel with three people and she had already helped him before too. It was pure luck that she hadn't been caught so far.

"Thank you... See you next time."

"See you too. Stay safe. You too, Baekho. I won't be there to save your life anymore."

"Thank you. Good bye."
