Baekho wasn't expecting the person who poked his head through the door to be none other than Aron. Aron himself was pretty surprised to see Baekho too but Baekho didn't put the sword down.

"Aron? What are you doing here?"

"That should be my question! One of my guards told me that someone entered our secret shack and I came by to check it myself," Aron said, quickly stepping in and shutting the door behind him. "The Black Fox knights are going crazy trying to find for the both of you. What did you two do?"

"Well... we ran away?" Baekho said, still cautiously holding the sword even though he placed it back onto the table.

"That's stupid!" Aron squeaked but noticed Minhyun and his eyes widened. He quickly bent down and checked the other's temperature. "Has he taken any medicine?"

"I don't think so... we left in a hurry. There's an empty medicine bottle in the bag but I don't think there was anything inside there in the first place," Baekho explained.

"What. You have to get him to my place immediately," Aron said.

"Why? What's wrong?" Baekho was starting to get worried but part of him wasn't sure if he could trust the other even though he wanted to. He knew he was a naive person by heart but when it came to Minhyun, he wanted to be more mature.

"Hasn't Minhyun told you about his allergies before? To dust and pretty much anything that isn't clean beforehand," Aron replied. Baekho shook his head.

"Does he sneeze a lot?"

"Yeah and also have break outs sometimes depending on how dire the situation is. But he gets sick easily if he goes out without taking medicine."

"How do you know all that?" Baekho asked, frowning at Aron as he pulled Minhyun closer to himself.

"Because I happen to be somewhat.... of a childhood friend to Minhyun? Look, we weren't the closest but I think I hang out with him the most and Minhyun has always been cautious about his health so I didn't have to worry. If you ran away and without proper preparations, my main concern now is his health," Aron explained.

"It's been barely a day though," Baekho said softly.

"What about before today? Has he been taking it?"

"I don't know...."

"No... I haven't been taking my medicine," Minhyun's weak voice said as he blinked his eyes open to look at the two of them. "You're both so noisy..." He pushed himself up and coughed a little. Baekho helped to steady him as he sat up. "And it's not his fault for not knowing, Aron. I don't think I've mentioned it to him before."

"Good. Now that you're awake. Would you please follow me back so I can have the doctor take a look at you?" Aron pleaded, not wanting to see his friend suffer like this.

"But what about the truce? If you help me... my father is sure to get angry," Minhyun said.

"I couldn't care more or less about some truce our parents made together!" Aron huffed. "I care about you! And blimey, I care about this idiot here too!" Aron motioned at Baekho who rubbed his neck awkwardly. Was he really such an idiot? Maybe.

"You know Baekho?"

"Yeah... We sparred a little while you were busy," Aron said, suddenly nervous at how Minhyun would respond but when the other just nodded, he let out a sigh of relief.

"I can't drag you into this, Aron. As much as I would love the help," Minhyun said firmly. Baekho just sat quietly as the two bickered it out.

"For goodness sake, Minhyun, why won't you ever let someone else take care of you for once?" Aron was getting annoyed and very eager to just drag the other by the ear. Maybe he should so that.

"It's not just about me now. If you bring us back, your whole kingdom is at risk. I'm trying to lessen the casualties here by not asking for help."

"And I'm telling you that it's okay to ask for help!" They both stared daggers at one another. Baekho could tell there's no way they were going to be able to settle this matter now.

"Um...," he mumbled, flinching as the two of them directed their glares towards him. "Sorry to butt in but I think I need a doctor to help stitch my wounds up if that's okay with you, Minhyun." Minhyun's expression softened at once and Aron's turned confused.

"You look perfectly fine," Aron said.

"Well... he didn't exactly hurt my face much but..."

"He?" Aron muttered.

"My father...," Minhyun said softly. He knew Baekho needed proper care for his wounds but was it really okay to ask for help from Aron? Aron's face was pretty priceless at the mention of Minhyun's father.

"Tell me what happened. Everything." Aron took a seat and both males tried to explain everything that happened. From when Minhyun's parents came back to the war to the time they spent in amnesia and torture and how they got back together and ran away. Aron was in shock that his friends had to go through all that. "No wonder you guys ran away... and why they're searching for you so frantically. Still, I can promise you nobody will be able to find you if you follow me back. I've got a carriage waiting and I trust my people well enough to keep it on the low. So please, trust me too?"

Minhyun looked at Baekho worriedly and Baekho returned the look with a more 'I'll go wherever you go' look. Minhyun nodded in the end. They couldn't keep going like this. Buying medicine and food would gradually turn problematic too since they didn't have money with them. And Minhyun's face was probably too recognisable.

"Thank you, Minhyun. I won't let you down. Come on now before your condition gets worse," Aron said, glad that Minhyun finally gave in. He helped carry their stuff and carefully led them to the carriage while making sure no one was looking. Once they were all in, he asked the coachman to head back to the palace.
