For most people, leisure meant relaxing. Reading, horse riding, playing with friends but certainly not for Minhyun. He used to be one of the naive children as well but right now, he sat high on his black ride staring down at the one person left standing on the battlefield that was at its wits end. The male still stood as proudly as he could despite holding onto the sword jammed into the ground for balance. Tattered armor and blood around the edges of the sword.

"That's the man, sir. He's beaten a quarter of our forces all by himself but he's also really worn out now," one of the knights told Minhyun who could tell from the other's build that he was not to be looked down upon. If anything, Minhyun was pretty sure the other could definitely win him in terms of strength but he wasn't about to back out now from one worn out knight.

"No plans on surrendering either?" Minhyun asked in his usual soft voice. The knight shook his head. Minhyun got down from his horse to a lot of the other's surprise. He strode over to the male who also seemed rather surprised by Minhyun's solo advance. Minhyun could see the other gripping the hilt of his sword tightly.

"You shouldn't go too near, sir," the knight said hurriedly but Minhyun motioned him to step back to which the other obeyed.

"I heard you're giving my men some trouble," Minhyun said once he felt like the other could hear his voice without raising it too much. The other just gritted his teeth, unwilling to say anything. It was probably due to how injured or worn out he already was since Minhyun could see him breathing really heavily. Minhyun glanced back at his men before putting a hand on his own sword's hilt.

The other seemed to be on guard with Minhyun's action. Minhyun thought for awhile. He didn't really want to have to kill any more. He was quite tired of it all if he was to be honest. Doing all these was getting him nowhere at this point. So he thought of something else instead.

"Listen. I will have a one-on-one duel with you. If you somehow manage to win me, I will call all my men off and stay away for awhile. If I win...."

"No. If I win, you stay away from my kingdom," the male spoke in a raspy but strong tone. He pulled off the helmet and tossed it onto the ground. Blonde hair showing themselves as well as the face hidden behind it. A strong gaze with a healthy complexion despite the sweat dripping down the male's face. Minhyun felt a sting in his chest, something he hadn't felt in a long while. He was curious as to what the feeling was but he brushed it off as he stared at the other's determined eyes.

"Alright. But I haven't finished what I was going to say. If I win, I'll stay away from your kingdom but... you will come with me," Minhyun said calmly. The other seemed really taken aback but also seemed to consider his offer. After a short pause, the other took a deep breath and stood up straight.

"You will... stay away? From my kingdom...?" The blonde male asked softly for confirmation.

"Yes. But you have to come at me with all you have left too. I won't forgive you if you come at me half heartedly."

"Of course I won't. It's a knight's honor," the male said. Minhyun raised his brows slightly, wondering if the man before him was the head knight. He realised the feeling was one of intrigue. Maybe it was the eyes that drew him in now that he could actually see them or maybe it was the sight of someone who looked so strong even though he was already in a dire situation. Minhyun drew his sword, causing his own head knight step forward.

"Sir..."

"I have come to an agreement with him. Do not step in."

"But..."

The male pulled his sword out and tried his best to steady it as he positioned himself for any attack. Minhyun nodded, signalling the start of their duel. He could tell the other wasn't going to make the first move with how tired he was so he took the chance to bring a quick jab in. The other blocked it but Minhyun could tell his moves were not the best. One would even call it sloppy as Minhyun quickly stepped back and went in for another stab, successfully grazing the other who held back his voice.

"Come on. Is this the strength that defeated so many of my men?" Minhyun coaxed him, knowing it would be disadvantageous for himself but he knew it would be too easy to knock the other out now.

"Damn you," the male cursed softly but tried to go for a swing which Minhyun avoided easily before actually stabbing the other in what he hoped wasn't a vital body part. This time, the male let out a low growl but before he could retaliate, Minhyun took the chance to step closer and knock him out from the back with his hand. Something he was taught a long time ago and mastered since he wasn't the best when it came to strength. The blonde male fell right onto Minhyun, sword sliding out from his hand as he fainted. Minhyun stumbled back slightly before placing the rather heavy male down onto the ground. He let out a soft relieved sigh, away from his knights' view. He turned around, keeping his sword back into the scabbard and walked over to his head knight who seemed proud of him.

"Should we storm the palace now?"

"No. I made a deal with that knight. Bring him in and leave the place."

"What? Are you very sure, sir?"

"Do I sound unsure?" Minhyun asked in a firm tone as he straddled his horse, looking down at the knight who quickly shook his head and ordered his men to carry the other. "Oh. Bring his sword along. Tend to his wounds and put him in one of the empty rooms. Make sure he's cuffed. Once you're done, tell me. The rest of you can take a break. Well done, everyone. Today is another victory for us but I dare say, I do not wish for anymore bloodshed for awhile."

With that, he rode back to the palace alone.
