"So you won," the queen said. Minhyun looked at her and nodded. "And then what? You'll take the throne?"

"Maybe," Minhyun replied, uncertain of that himself. "But there are things I need to know first."

"And what could that be, Minhyun?"

"You're not my mother, aren't you?" Minhyun's question baffled everyone except the queen and Aron.

"When did you find out?" The queen asked, looking Minhyun in the eye.

"Recently... I want to know the truth and I think now is a better time than any other," Minhyun said calmly. He felt his rage and anger all gone somehow. Maybe it was because he had no more energy to muster such emotions. And he knew violence could only solve a limited amount of problems.

"Very well. You are an illegitimate child, born by your father and another mother. While my truth may not be the complete truth, I hope this answers your question."

"Is that why you guys keep trying to kill me?"

"Yes. Either get rid of you from birth or get rid of your mother and take you as my own. As you can see, the latter worked better."

"Why? Why kill her?"

"Because of you, sweetie. I couldn't bear the king a son so he went off finding for another lady who could. Your father was against both options. After all, he loved your mother but blamed her death on you. That's why he could never look you in the eye. And your sister hated you because you also had the rights to inherit the throne which is why she keeps torturing you."

Minhyun nodded. He felt a light tap on his shoulder and turned to see Baekho who looked at him with pure eyes. Clear of pity. Baekho smiled and hugged Minhyun who snuggled into the hug. Minhyun closed his eyes, feeling no tears or sadness but acceptance. There was no more need to fight and lift his sword towards his family.

"Take her away," Aron ordered and his guards went up to escort the queen away. He walked up to the two males and gave them a big hug too. Ren joined in and JR reluctantly did so too.

"Thank you, all of you...," Minhyun said and smiled tiredly. He was really glad to have friends like them and well, a lover like Baekho.

"You're welcome," Aron replied this time with a huge grin. "You're safe now. With us."

The voice of someone clearing their throat got their attention and the 5 boys turned to see the advisor standing there.

"As much as I would love to let you 5 have your time, there are matters that needs to be discussed." The 5 boys groaned and grumbled but found their laughter and nodded.

"Thank you."

A few months passed since the whole incident and things had slowly settled down with Minhyun taking the lead after visiting each kingdom that his father had once taken over. He had offered their kingdom back to them which most accepted, building a mutual relationship instead of having power over them. Minhyun didn't see the need to be in control of so many kingdoms after all. Baekho was by his side all the way through and the last kingdom they visited was the White Tiger Kingdom. His brothers were still alive but his parents weren't. Baekho didn't feel too bad but still wanted to have a proper funeral for them. His brothers didn't reject of course.

"There's just so many things to do. Have you thought about it yet? Being king?" Baekho asked when they were on the way back to the Black Fox Kingdom. Minhyun's hand was twirled with Baekho's.

"I'm not sure... Some part of me doesn't want to be king but at the same time, someone needs to lead my people," Minhyun replied. Baekho kissed his hand gently.

"I'll be right with you no matter what your decision is," Baekho said and Minhyun smiled. He leaned over to Baekho and whispered in his ear.

"Are you ready for my turn?" Baekho's cheeks turned red.

"I'll thought you would have forgotten that by now!"

"You wish! I had to wait a long time for it with this whole 'fix the mess your parents made' so don't you dare run away now," Minhyun said. Baekho grinned and kissed Minhyun, still loving the feeling of the other's lips.

"I won't. It's a promise after all," he said happily although he was slightly afraid for his butt.

They reached the palace and both of them got down. Fingers interlocked. Minhyun didn't care about the stares he got anymore although it made him conscious of his surroundings at first but now it just made him happy. They entered the palace that was going through certain renovations.

"My prince," the advisor said when they crossed each other at the hallway. The old man smiled and motioned for Minhyun to follow him. Baekho didn't leave his side. They went back down to the fake room.

"Why are we coming down here?" Minhyun asked curiously after telling Baekho that this was where he spent his days during their time apart.

"There are still truths to be told," the advisor said. They went into the room with the machine and the advisor turned to look at the two males. "The truth about your mother and father and this place itself."

"Go on."

"Thank you. Truth be told, your mother... is from another universe." Minhyun decided to listen to everything first but Baekho couldn't hold his startled expression back. "And this room was designed to look like the apartment your father lived in back when he visited the universe your mother was in. The memories you watched belong to your father. Not long after he brought your pregnant mother back, the queen had planned on killing you or her. Although killing you failed, your mother died. Your father was devastated to say the least. He told me to seal away his memories but doing so might have sealed away the good parts of him too. He also prohibited any form of universe travelling from then on to avoid others sharing your mother's fate."

"So... You're saying I'm kind of like an alien?" Minhyun asked and the advisor laughed.

"Yes, my prince. If that's how you want to put it."

"And the girl I see in the memories is my mother? And I was my father?"

"Yes.. that is the truth." Minhyun remembered how much the him in the memory had smiled. If he was his father, maybe he really had sealed away the good parts of himself. All the happy memories he had with the girl who Minhyun now knew was his mother. Baekho was confused but at the same time really baffled at the thought that there were other universes actually out there.

"Thank you, old man."
