The party after the coronation was open to anyone so there were plenty of people going in and out from the palace to either congratulate the two crowned kings or just to grab a free bite. Minhyun and Baekho walked hand in hand around the party since they didn't want to lose sight of each other. There were whispers about it but frankly, they didn't really care anymore and most of the palace's staff already knew about their relationship.

"Minhyun, Baekho! Over here!" Aron called out to them while jumping slightly since he was a little too short among the crowd. The two made their way over to Aron, greeting and thanking the people who stopped in their way. They were pretty breathless the moment they managed to make it to Aron who was laughing at them again.

"You're both so popular now," Aron said jokingly and offered them drinks which they gladly took.

"So are you. Since you helped us make this happen," Minhyun said and sipped the drink.

"Nah. There is someone else who's got more fame than me and also someone who's trying to get all his fangirls away from him," Aron said and pointed to a distance. The two kings tilted their head to see who Aron was talking about and saw JR being pulled around by an annoyed Ren in one arm and some females in the other.

"He really did fight well that day," Baekho said and laughed, thankful that nobody did that to him or Minhyun. He might die from jealousy if Minhyun had girls clinging to him.

"It's always a wonder how people find these things out," Minhyun said softly but turned away. "I heard he's been knighted. Is that true?" Aron nodded.

"Yeah. Since the king saw his worth and decided that leaving him as Ren's nobody would be a waste. He's a knight and Ren's personal bodyguard now."

"That's great!" Baekho said excitedly. "We should go congratulate him, Minhyun."

"I would love to but I don't think I want to enter the crowd of girls around them," Minhyun said with a light laugh. Aron nodded in agreement.

"They'll come over if they notice us," Aron said instead. The three continued talking until Minhyun and Baekho were whisked away to greet more people. Of course, they came across the maid who had helped them on many occasions by now and Minhyun was more than happy to give her a higher status, even asking if she would love to be the advisor's assistant to which she agree whole heartedly.

"Thank you so much... I really wouldn't know what I would have done with your help," Minhyun said while giving her a tight hug. She was surprised but Baekho joined in the hug as well and the three of them shared a grateful moment.

"I will serve the both of you with all my heart and soul," She said with a bright smile and tears falling down her eyes.

"You liked Baekho before this, didn't you?" Minhyun whispered to her once they broke the hug and Baekho got distracted by the food. She smiled and shrugged.

"Maybe.... But I believe you're the perfect person to make him happy, my king."

"Thank you, Kyulkyung."

The party went on for a couple of hours and when it was time for everyone to leave, the two of them stood at the front door. Waving and wishing everyone a good day. They finally got a chance to thank Ren and congratulate JR as well who thanked them with a bright smile. They also noticed a bunch of teenagers following him, later finding out from Aron who stuck to them that those were the children from the orphanage JR used to care for. They were glad to have given them this chance to reunite first. Once almost about everyone left, Aron turned to them and smiled.

"I should get going too."

"Aron, thank you for everything you've done for me... for us until now," Minhyun said and Aron nodded.

"You're most welcomed. Thank you too, Minhyun. For believing in me," Aron said before waving and getting up his carriage. "See you around, your majesties!" Baekho and Minhyun both waved back and waited until his carriage was out of sight before locking arms and walking back into the palace. It was the beginning of their time together.

Since they had the rest of the evening to themselves, Baekho had actually planned a little something for them without letting Minhyun know. He wanted to keep it as a surprise so he led Minhyun to the back garden which the other didn't go often.

"Where are we going?" Minhyun asked when Baekho changed directions.

"A secret!" He said and before he led him out, he covered Minhyun's eyes. "Don't worry. I won't let you trip."

"Wah... what have you done?" Minhyun asked jokingly but let Baekho lead him out onto the grassy area.

"Nothing yet," Baekho said and made sure to avoid the bushes and brought him up to the table he had prepared just for a simple dinner date. "Don't open your eyes yet." Baekho removed his hands and Minhyun nodded. Baekho pulled the chairs back and got the bouquet from his chair before standing in front of Minhyun, holding his hand gently. Minhyun flinched a little from the sudden touch but relaxed since he knew it was Baekho. "You can open it now."

Minhyun fluttered his eyelids open and looked at the simple setup with the lit candlesticks, petal decorations and wine glasses. He couldn't help the smile that crept up his lips and the warmth in his chest. "What's this?"

"A dinner date," Baekho said happily and held the flowers out to Minhyun who gladly took it. "I wasn't sure what to do and it's nothing fancy like the coronation but I thought it'll be nice to have a little alone time together after all the crowd."

"What are you saying, Baekho? I love it," he said, putting the flowers down so he could cup the other's cheeks in his hands to give him a kiss. Baekho was glad Minhyun loved it and returned the kiss, gently holding his arms. They parted and looked at each other lovingly before taking a seat. "You're too sweet."

"And you're so beautiful," Baekho said, earning a bright laugh from Minhyun who still couldn't get use to his sudden cheesy or romantic remarks. "I'm really glad we met despite everything that happened."

"Me too," Minhyun said, holding Baekho's hand. "Well... since you already have this lovely set up...." He got up while still holding the other's hand, circling around the table before he slowly knelt on one knee. Baekho's eyes widened as Minhyun pulled out a little red box from his pocket.

"Are you seriously trying to have a step up on me even for a surprise?" Baekho asked and Minhyun smiled.

"I know it's still kind of early but I think now is a pretty good time. Also, I already told you I was going to propose after the coronation," Minhyun said, letting go of Baekho's hand so he could open the box. There were two beautifully crafted rings inside with a black and white shine intertwining one another. "I love you, Kang Dongho. Will you... marry me?"

Baekho was really happy despite his embarrassment that Minhyun had once again managed to capture his heart. "Yes and I love you too, Hwang Minhyun." Minhyun grinned and took out the ring, carefully sliding it onto Baekho's ring finger. Baekho almost squealed but kept it down since he had to remind himself that he was still a guy. He put the ring on for Minhyun and they held their hands out together, happy with the outcome of their months spent together.

"The wedding will have to wait," Minhyun said and kissed Baekho gently.

"But dinner can't," Baekho mumbled, earning a light punch and laugh from Minhyun.
