Chapter 16

*Lydia's POV*

"What the hell am I gonna wear that's gonna fit this belly ?" I rubbed my belly a collapsed onto the bed .

"There's a lot of nice dresses in here that we bought when we wen on that shopping spree ." Regan started going through my closet and picking out a bunch of dresses. "Try them on ."

"Fine ." I picked up one of the dresses and went into my bathroom . The first dress was a strapless maxi dress that was grey and white floral print lace and a pink ribbon above the belly .

I walked out of the bathroom so that Regan could zip up the back .

"It looks kinda tight ."

"It kinda is ." I walked out of the room and down the hall into the living room where the boys were .

"I really like that one ." Luke turned away from the tv to look at me .

"I do too but isn't it a little to summery for a fall photo shoot ?"

"Yeah I guess I could fall it up a bit." I walked out of the living room and back into my room .

"Here's that second dress ." She handed me a black lace dress that came to my knees .

"I need to find my burgundy stockings and back booties ."

"Okay I'll find them . Go and show the boys ."

"Oh and my brown riding boots and that dark purple cardigan ."

"Okay now go ." She pushed me out of the door and into the hall.

"That one looks really good !"

"Okay . I'm going to bed ." I went back to my room and toke off the dress and got ready for bed .

I laid down in my be and took out my laptop . I stared at my desktop picture which was a picture of the first ultrasound I ever had . I stared at it for at least 20 minutes trying to picture having those babies on the screen in my arms .

I'm still not sure if I'll be a good mum but I still can't wait to hold them in my arms and show them the world . To love them unconditionally and give them the best life we could possibly give them. At least my kids will have a father that will always be there and love them . Something that I never really had and wouldn't want my babies to live without that .

"Lucas it's time to get up ." I sat on top of him and kept hitting his chest.

"Well I love waking up to this ." He opened up one eye and looked up at me . "But I don't want to get out of bed just yet ."

He flipped me off of him and got on top of me .

"I have to wake everyone else up!" He started to kiss all over my face and then kissed my lips .

"You are so beautiful ."

"Thank you . Now get off of me heavy butt ." I pushed him off of me and he fell onto the floor . I quickly jumped off the bed and ran out the room .

"Ashton !" Luke came running after me and I ran into the baby/guest room .

"Get back here munchkin !" I jumped on the air mattress with Ashton and got under the covers .

"Help me ." Ashton opened his eyes and looked at me .

"With what ?"

"Getting away from-" before I could finish Luke busted into the room and jumped on Ashton's air mattress .

"Ashton can't help you now ." Luke pulled the covers off my head and started tickling me .

"Help !"
