Chapter 19

"You stupid bitch !"

"Lydia !" I heard running coming towards me and then a punching sound . I didn't see anything because I had my face to the floor so I wouldn't have to see anything.

I felt hands on my back trying to pull me up .

"No ! Leave me alone !"

"Buggy it's me . It's okay ." He picked me up off the floor and hugged me tight.

"The cops are here and they got them . I'm right here buggy, I'm right here ." He rubbed my back while I cried for a little bit .

*Zoe's POV*

After I put Lydia to bed Alfie, Joe, Marcus, Niomi and me sat in the living room talking .

"What kind of father does this to his child ?"

"The one that is probably mental ."

"I really just want him dead ." I heard the venom in Joe's voice .

"Yeah well I can't have my brother in jail for murder ."

"Did you call Ashton back ?"

"Oh right I should do that but I'd rather talk to Luke ." I pulled out my phone and dialed Luke's number .

"Zoe ! Is she okay ?"

"She's fine . She's sleeping right now and you can talk to her when she wakes up ."

"Oh thank god ! Was he there ?"

"Yes, him and Kyle but the police got here in time and arrested them."

"I'll catch the next flight I can find."

"She is going to be so pissed off, that she won't even talk to you when you get here . Don't do that to her or your career ."

"Ok but a guy needs to stay there at all times so she is safe ."

"We'll all be here until you get home."

"Who's we ?"

"Joe, Niomi, Marcus, Alfie and me for right now but Tanya, Jim and Casper will be here tomorrow."

"Ok good . Tell her to call me when she wakes up ."

"Ok I will and Luke we will keep her safe . I promise ."

"Thank you ." He hung up the phone and I put mine on the coffee table .

*Lydia's POV*

I woke up to Zoe staring down at me .

"Hi ."

"Hello gorgeous ." She brushed a piece of hair out of my face and laid down next to me .

"What are you doing here?"

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Are you okay ?"

"I'm sore but I'm fine ."

"Come with me to the living room cause I'm pretty sure everyone wants to know what happened."

"Okay . Let me just brush my teeth and change ."

After I changed into some sweats and brushed my teeth I walked out into the living room .

"Hey guys ." Casper moved his legs off the couch to make room for me to sit down .

"Tell us what happened ."

"Okay then . He told me that my scandal at the Halloween party was ruining the Irwin name and he told me to break up with Luke and to put the babies up for adoption."

"What the hell is wrong with that dude?" Joe came up behind me and have me a cup of tea.

"Thanks and I don't know."

"How are the babies?"

"They won't leave me alone so that's a good sign."

"Yeah that is a good sign. Are you hungry?"

"I'm always hungry."

"Then let's go out to eat ." Everyone got up from where they were sitting and waited for me .

"I kinda need help to get up." Everyone rushed at once to help me off the couch . "Thanks."

I grabbed my phone and purse and we all left the house.

"Have you guys picked out names yet?"

"Yep, Logan Asher and Dylan Anne but I was thinking about changing Asher to Andrew but I have to talk to Luke."

"Why Andrew or Asher ?"

"Andrew is Luke's dad and Asher is the closet to to Ashton I'll get."

"Oh nice ."

"Are you gonna go to playlist?"

"I haven't thought that far ahead. Ive barley thought about going to my mums for Christmas ."

"Maybe you can just get your mum to watch them at playlist . I'm sure she would want to spend time with her grand kids."

"She'll be tired of us by the time we leave Australia."

"Who could ever get tired of this cute little face ?" Joe pinched my cheek and shook it .

"Get off me you dork ." I swatted his hand away from my face and held it in my hands .

"You're the dork ." He pulled my head into his chest and messed with my hair.

"Hey ! Get off me you asshole!"

"Joe leave her alone ." Joe stopped messing with my hair but didn't let go of my head .

"Joe if you don't let go of me I'm gonna elbow you in your stomach."

"Do it ." I moved my arm into the right spot and then elbowed him.

"Ow ! I didn't think you would really do that."

"Don't doubt me ."

"I won't next time ."
