Author's Note: Omg. It's been long enough. So the main thing that was holding me back from writing this was I had originally wanted it to be a true first century roman city, but I decided against it because it was hard to write. So take the setting as a fantasy style first century Roman city. Also I changed Logan and Patton's names, because I thought they fit. Anyways, I just hope you all enjoy as these Romans in togas acting gay towards each other. As always, love you all!

The market air wafted into the humble abode of Lilligan and Patudius Sandre and filled the small home with the aroma of freshly baked bread. Lilligan was currently sitting at a small desk facing the open window as it looked upon the Roman city. His toga was made of white cloth and a wreath of dark blue leaves adorned his head.

He moved his pen gently across the scroll, scratching in perfect straight lines as he wrote the poem he had planned for his secret lover's birthday. For Patudius and Lilligan had agreed to not out themselves in the public yet, until Lilligan decided he would in this poem. And this was the very same poem he was writing right now. It was time he proclaim his love to the world.

He had the whole scenario in his mind. First, he would go to the market's square with Patudius and gather everyone around to hear his newest poem. It should not be that difficult considering his poems were famous throughout the city. Second, he would read aloud with vigour in his voice, the descriptions of the perfect body. He could see it now. Oh how his husband would blush, especially if Lilligan could sneak a small peak back at him while he was reading if no one could see. He was keeping the descriptions quite agender for the first part. He wanted the big reveal to be the shock to the crowds, and even his husband, who already knew how he felt, but words of encouragement is Patudius's love language. Lilligan chuckled a bit as he wrote. This poem would certainly be encouraging a lot of feelings in Patudius's heart.

"Lilligan! I'm home!" The poet dropped his pen in horror and surprise. Patudius was not supposed to be home this early from his errands. Quickly scrambling to hide the scroll and any evidence he had been writing another poem, he tried to reply as normally as possible.

"Ah! Patudius! I'm glad to hear your voice!" His husband had a small demand to read whatever poem he was working on before it was released to the public, which Lilligan had agreed to. He only hoped that Patudius would understand that this was the one time where a secret must stay secret unless directly shared.

Lilligan allowed his sandals to tramp on the soft dirt floor as he hurried into the kitchen to pretend he was washing dishes only to see his beautiful Patudius staring directly at him with those cute freckles and blue eyes he had just described in his poem. Oh how Lilligan couldn't help but fall in love just a little bit more.

His toga was white as well, but there were tiny blue flowers dotting along his wreath, distinguishing him from Lilligan. Patudius's toga met the poet's as they grasped each other in a firm hug. "You are home early. Did Virgil have everything you needed?"

"He did. And now I'm home for the day!" He looked about at the disordered house. "Hmm...weren't you going to do some chores today?" Logan's eyes widened. He was too busy writing he had forgotten that the biggest dead give away that he was working on a new poem was a messy house. He stuttered to give an excuse. "I-I-I was supposed too...but I fell asleep!" The small smirk on Patudius's face told he had seen right through his attempted lie.
