Author's Note: This was for the Valentickle that I had hosted on my server! I had been working on it for a period of over a month and got it finished on Valentine's Day! Buuuut, I'm unfortunately not uploading it until today which is two days after Valentine's. I hope you can forgive me and that you all still enjoy it. Thank you for being patient with me on A tedious Caretaker's Sequel. I got another fic to upload that's been done for a couple of months as compensation. I'm also finally working on that Remus Self-insert you guys have been wanting for ages! I think it's been enough time. Alright, enjoy!

There were many holidays the sides celebrated together. Whether it be Christmas, New Years, 4th of July, or Easter they were required by Patton to hang out together and do whatever fun activities he and Roman had put together. There was one holiday that no one seemed to celebrate however, and that day was Valentine's. Sure they all understood that there was a shared mutual respect between them, but the most festive thing Patton and Roman would do that day was bake heart shaped cookies and distribute them out.

While the cookies tasted great, it was always on this day that something tugged at the logical aspect's figurative heart strings. Valentine's day was supposed to be about love which Logan played no part in, so why was he, of all people, feeling something? Although it was only in the morning, he couldn't help but sense the feeling was growing as it always did on this nonsensical day. It had started as a dull seed in the pit of his belly when he woke up, and now he felt it sprout, seeding itself deep into where his heart would be.

It was a weird feeling, but after a few minutes of consideration he knew what the emotion was prompting him to do. He wanted to give something to someone, but not just anyone, to Virgil. I guess it was logical reasoning that one gives something on Valentine's day, but the other sides had never done anything of the sort before. And when Logan actually did find something to give Virgil, he might laugh in response or think of it as a joke.

Logan sat at his desk arguing with himself about the matter until he realized his emotions were growing the more he thought about it. Why did he want to give something to Virgil in the first place? There had to be a better excuse to tell Virgil than "It's just Valentine's Day," when the time came. He pondered his and Virgil's recent interactions. They had been spending more time together than what was considered normal, just sitting in silence and enjoying each other's company. Perhaps what Logan was feeling was gratitude or even appreciation for his fellow side. Now, that was an idea he could reason with.

Even if he had the why and who figured out, what was the next question. What would he get Virgil? He had already given him a gift card for his first Christmas with him, noise cancelling earphones and ear muffs the next, and some fidget gadgets last year. So what the edgiest side, who despised all things pink and red, enjoy receiving as a Valentine's Day gift?

He quickly pulled up his laptop and searched for varying ideas that the emo might like. One thing he found was a must: dark chocolate. It reduces stress, anxiety, and can be bittersweet, much like how he saw Virgil in most instances during the Sander's Sides videos. He knew Virgil already had a large plethora of stuffed animals, but he did remember that a few weeks ago Roman accidentally sliced through his favorite bean bag chair. With two good presents so far, he sought out to obtain them from the master of conjuration himself, Roman.
