Author's Note: *crawls out from my grave* I...am still HERE! Yeah sorry it's been such a long time since I wrote a fic. It was this fic right here that was giving me so much trouble. Every time I tried to write it, I would get stuck and felt like I couldn't word things right. Well, here it is in the flesh, finished and edited to the best I could possibly make it without banging my head into a wall. XD Not gonna say too much more because I'm just happy I was able to finish this fic and be satisfied with how it turned out. Please enjoy the fruits of my labor over the last six months. Exactly six months. The last time I updated this was May 14th. 0.0 I'm so sorry everyone. XD

There weren't many things that gave Patton depression, but the news was one of them. Logan consistently reminded him that the media thrived off of negative headlines, but Patton couldn't help but be sad whenever Thomas watched something that seemed unfair. This led to the moral aspect cuddled up on the couch in his cat onesie with a bowl of cookies that he could nom on as he whimpered quietly. Logan had been watching from afar, attempting to refrain from giving Patton the 'I told you so' talk.
Virgil walked up from behind Logan and stood next to him. For a moment they both watched Patton cry in silence. "Ah boy. Here we go again."
"I want to help, but any 'helping' from me would translate into lecturing." Logan explained with a sad tone littering his voice.
"I gotta agree with ya there, L." Silence filled the room once more, before Virgil growled underneath his breath. "I hate seeing Patton sad like this. I just wanna fix it." He pulled the hood over his head and tugged on his hoodie strings until only his nose was poking out.
"I also want to fix it, but the way to cheer up Patton is not my specialty, and I fail each time." Logan turned to look at Virgil who loosened his hood slightly to see Logan better.
"Huh? How are you supposed to cheer him up then?"
"Silly faces." Logan responded bluntly. "Which you can gather from prior knowledge I am not good at that sort of thing." Virgil snorted in response.
"I can beg to differ, but whatever you say." Patton released a gentle whine from the couch, turning their attention back to the despairing side. "We gotta do something."
Logan turned to Virgil. "If you will accompany me, I will attempt to provide silly faces for Patton once more."
The anxious aspect seemed slightly nervous at Logan's offer. "Uh...what do you mean by 'accompany' exactly?"
"Perhaps a better word would have been 'partake." Logan responded, pushing up his glasses, fondly looking at Virgil through his lenses.
Virgil would have admitted that it was something he didn't feel comfortable doing, but because it was for Patton, he supposed he could at least try. He couldn't be even more of a failure now could he? He sighed. "Nngh...alright fine, but you gotta give it your best too. I don't wanna feel like the only one being stupid."
Logan paused for a second, then nodded. "Very well." In sync, they walked up through the living room and paused their gait in front of the couch Patton was currently hoarding. The moral aspect looked up, his bottom lip still trembling, but they both noticed his tears were beginning to dry, so he must have been on the upswing of this mood.
