Today is the big day for the play. But ever since what happened to the dress... here I am in my room, busy sulking. I don't think there's enough time for the costume design team or my mom to make a new one. Mom never experienced making a ball gown, ironically due to the fact that she's a fashion designer but she's more into modern and trendy fashion these days. She could try though but then again... there is not enough time.

I felt so bad for the costume design team. They put a lot of hardwork, time and effort to make the dress. Their supplies costs a lot of money. Heck, they even stayed up so late and work their butts off just to make the costumes.

Why Madison could ever done such a terrible thing? More importantly, what did I even do to her in the first place? Was it because I got the role of Cinderella and she got so disappointed, more likely so pissed, in the end? She expected so much about herself and look what happened.

'KNOCK KNOCK'

My thoughts were being interrupted by the sounds coming from outside of my bedroom. I get off the bed and walk towards the door. I twist the doorknob, open the door  and saw Marco and Jean standing by the door with concern looks on their face. And I noticed they're carrying a big black fabric, not even curious what's inside.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked as I let them inside and close the door.

"We knew you're in here and we're just checking up on you." Jean answered, sitting on the bed with Marco beside him and they're still carrying the big black fabric.

I nodded and sigh. "I'm fine guys. I just... I don't know what to do. I mean, the dress is ruined and the play will start in a few hours."

"Well... we could fix that." Marco said and they started to pull out of the big black fabric. My jaws dropped as soon as a sophisticated blue ball gown met my eyes. An improved version of it.

It's in the beautiful darker shade of blue, has a sweetheart neckline, off-the-shoulder and it has gorgeous designs on it. Now this is a ball gown and it's the one to express yourself under the spotlight and the one to stand out the others in a fairytale ball.

"W-Where did you- How did you guys managed to find a new dress?" I'm lost for words that I couldn't even finish my first question.

"The costume design team have been keeping this dress from Madison and this is the real dress that you're going to wear for the play tonight. It's actually quite smart of them. And don't worry, the glass slippers are still safe." Jean said. "Are you now ready to go to the ball, Cinderella?"

"Yes, let's get going!" I said as we rush out of my room and on our way to the school.

We've arrived at the school and proceed to the theatre room right away. We managed to avoid Madison on the way. Since Jean and Marco still needs to get ready for the play, they handed me the dress and I quickly proceed to the changing room.
