Chapter 27

Marga's POV

Natalie was rushed into the hospital, because she was shot by Hannah. Actually, all of us including Natalie's mom are very worried, 'cause we don't even know what will happen to Natalie after she got shot. While waiting, the doctor suddenly came out.

"Doc, how is she?", Natalie's mom asked.
"She's fine. Her room is in the second floor, and it's room 246. Just go to the left.", the doctor said.
"Thank you!", the four of us said.

Ben's POV

We're already here inside Natalie's hospital room, waiting for Kristoff to come. I really feel sorry about what happened to Natalie recently. While we're inside, Kristoff finally came in.

"How's Adrian and Hannah?", I asked.
"The police said that Adrian got arrested because of kidnapping, while Hannah ended up in a mental hospital, because she has a mental disorder.", he said.
"Ok!", we all said.
"How's Natalie?", he asked.
"She's fine!", Kristoff's mom said.
"Aunt Cynthia.", he said.
"Yes, Kristoff.", Natalie's mom said.
"I'm sorry.", he said.
"About what?", Natalie's mom asked.
"About what happened to Natalie. I was supposed to get shot, but instead, she blocked me and got shot instead by me. Maybe I should be the one who got shot, not her.", Kristoff said while crying.
"It's fine! But you know what, Natalie was really strong and brave when she sacrificed herself just for you to live.", Natalie's mom said.

Kristoff 's POV

My friends already went home, but they said they will visit us here tomorrow. Actually, it's only me, my mom, and Aunt Cynthia who's left inside Natalie's hospital room.

"Aunt Cynthia?", I said.
"Yes?", she responded.
"I'm sorry.", I said.
"About what?", she asked.
"For hurting your daughter for multiple times.", I said.
"At first, I know it was hard for you to believe her, but it's ok. I forgive you.", she said.
"Thank you, Auntie!", I said.
"I'll just go to the restroom.", she said.

She went to the restroom, while I suddenly glanced at my mom who's already sleeping at the couch 'cause it's been a very tough day. I suddenly got up quietly and approached Natalie. I stroked some strands of her hair before saying goodnight.

"Get well soon. I hope you can forgive me soon.", I said as I kissed her forehead.

I went to the other couch that's on the right side as I lied down and slept, 'cause I'm already tired.
