Background info before the story begins: Basically, Taehyung is a singer and Jungkook is his boyfriend. Tae is on tour so he hasn't seen Kook in a while.

Taehyung smiled and waved at the crowd, the sound of their screams muffled by the earpiece he wore. He noticed a girl in the front row beside the stage who was holding a sign that said: "I love you Taehyung". It made him smile wider seeing how excited she was that he'd noticed her.

"Thank you all for coming! I hope you enjoyed!" He yelled into the microphone, only to be met with more screams. "I love you guys!"

Fireworks shot into the sky for a grand finale, distracting the fans as Taehyung exited the stage.

Once he was safely backstage, he let out a long sigh and popped the earpieces out of his ears. Knowing if he sat down he would never stand up again, he willed himself not to fall into the oh-so-comfortable looking chairs scattered around the room.

"All tired out?" One of the staff asked as they handed him a bottle of water and a towel.

Taehyung chuckled and wiped the sweat off his face.

"Yeah. I love my fans, but they can be a lot to handle sometimes," He explained before taking a large gulp of water.

"I see. Well, go get changed and you can go back to the hotel room."

Taehyung nodded, sighing in relief as he entered the changing room. But as soon as he did, all the weariness was pushed from his mind.

"Kookie!"

Taehyung was shocked to see his boyfriend sitting casually in a chair in the middle of the room.

"Hey, baby," Jungkook laughed, standing up and opening his arms for a hug.

Taehyung was about to accept the hug but then hesitated.

"I'm all sweaty," He protested, blushing a bit.

"I don't mind," Jungkook replied, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend.

Taehyung smiled but blushed even more, embarrassed.

"How did you get here, Kookie?" Taehyung asked. "I thought you were going to wait for me to come home tomorrow."

"I wanted to surprise you," Jungkook grinned, kissing Taehyung's cheek.

Taehyung smiled and kissed Jungkook's cheek in return.

"Thank you, this is a really nice surprise."

"I'm glad you're happy," Jungkook murmured burying his face into the crook of Taehyung's damp neck. "I missed you."

"I missed you, too," Taehyung whispered.

Jungkook and Taehyung made their way to the car that was ready to bring them to the hotel. When they got in, the driver raised an eyebrow.
