a/n: I've appeared randomly out of nowhere with another update. This update has much less actual taekook content in it, but I'm thinking of making a pt 2 to include that fluff we all enjoy

     Jeongguk walked to school with his hands curled tightly around his backpack straps. Autumn was his favorite season, though it was too cold for his health. His hoodie was too thin to truly protect him from the breeze, but it was too late to turn around. He was already halfway to school. 

     Ahead, he could see the group of people his boyfriend was always with. His boyfriend was from America, which was really cool; his name was Jack, and he had an accent that made Jeongguk's heart flutter. He was attractive, no doubt, both with his looks and his confidence, and Jeongguk might even say he was proud to have been asked out by such a person. If he was being honest, he never realized Jack had even noticed him.

     Jeongguk's best friend, Taehyung, hadn't realized Jack had ever noticed Jeongguk before, either. When he's received news from Jeongguk that Jack had asked him out, Taehyung was shocked. The boy had slowly become more untrusting of Jack, subtly hinting that he was dishonest, or disloyal. Jeongguk wasn't willing to listen to such things. He didn't want to believe his boyfriend had asked him out without having feelings for him. It was perfectly possible he'd just been a secret admirer, right?

     Jack noticed Jeongguk approaching. He held out a hand for Jeongguk to take, pulling him into the little circle he was in. 

     "Jeongguk, how are you?" Jack asked, smirking, gripping Jeongguk's hips.

     Jeongguk squirmed, slightly uncomfortable. Jack had become really touchy-feely lately, especially in public. Jeongguk, having not known him for long, always found his cheeks growing hot, and not in a good way, but never said anything. This must be how normal boyfriends acted, right?

     "I'm fine, I guess. I-" Jeongguk's sentence was cut off by Jack kissing him. On the lips. In front of all his friends. Jeongguk froze.

     "That's great, baby boy. So, there's this party tonight, it's gonna be so awesome. Join us." It didn't sound like a question.

     "Well, I-"

     "What? Are you embarrassed to show up with an American boy?"

     "What? No! It's just that I have-"

     "Don't be an asshole, babe. I said you're coming with me."

     Jeongguk, embarrassed to argue with his boyfriend in public, just nodded a looked away.

     "Who else will be there?"

     "The whole school. That's another reason you have to go. This party's gonna be huge! If you miss it, you'll miss out on everything, Seriously, you don't wanna end up being left out of every conversation for the next month, right? Because every conversation's gonna be about this party."

     "Oh, you're right, I'll just study the next day..."

     "He's so cute," said a boy Jeongguk didn't know the name of, "What a shame." Jeongguk didn't really get what he meant by that.

     Another boy leaned towards them and slapped Jeongguk's bum, and hummed at the smacking sound like it was the sound of sizzling bacon. "Yeah, fine one you got there, Jack." He sniggered.

     "Shut up, man-whore," Jack said, "And don't slap his ass, he's mine. Isn't that right?" Jeongguk didn't respond. He was too busy dwelling in the mortification of having his ass slapped by a stranger. "I said, isn't that right, Jeongguk?"
