a/n: Back on Wattpad. Hopefully for a while?

Taehyung woke with a start. The half-open blinds casting streaks of gray light across the carpeted floor, up the side of the red comforter. The comforter, and the sheet underneath, was tucked up around Taehyung's body, holding his body heat against him. He was in Jeongguk's bed, snuggled deep into fresh sheets. The clock on the nightstand read, 8:46 AM.

Memories of the previous evening were fuzzy in his mind. He remembered his fingers becoming numb, making it hard to organize his bills. He'd put them against his tummy and laid down on his side, deciding to rest a moment and preserve body heat. He must've fallen asleep. And then there was the image of Jeongguk's worried face, the feeling of his arms, his warmth. And the words, "We're moving you in today," echoed in Taehyung's ears.

Jeongguk was nowhere in sight now. Taehyung yawned and sat up, moving the blankets away from him. It was dead silent, save for the soft sound of wind outside the window, a whisper against the glass. With a heaving effort, Taehyung was able to bring himself to his feet. His aching body threatened to give up on him, knees losing grip for a fraction of a second before he was able to make his muscles work again. He groaned, gripping the headboard to steady himself. There was a knock at the door.

     "Jeongguk?" Taehyung asked.

The door opened, revealing a very tired-looking Jeongguk, though he was smiling, seemingly relieved. He walked over to Taehyung and hugged him, resting his forehead on Taehyung's shoulder. The extra weight made Taehyung lose his balance, but Jeongguk held him up, quickly picking his head up again.

"Sorry, baby, didn't mean to make you almost fall over," Jeongguk chuckled, smiling softly at the shorter boy.

Taehyung chuckled, too, wrapping his arms around Jeongguk's waist.

"Gguk, we need to talk," Taehyung whispered, resting his head on Jeongguk's shoulder instead.

Jeongguk brought them to the bedside and gently sat Taehyung on the edge of the mattress, then sat beside him. With curiosity – and perhaps a little fear – Jeongguk looked into Taehyung's eyes, searching for the cause of his concern.

"I'm sorry I've been so reluctant to move in with you," Taehyung blushed as he spoke, but his voice didn't falter. "It's nothing personal. You know that, right?" Jeongguk nodded. "I love you, Jeongguk. I really, seriously love you. I want to be with you forever, okay? For that reason, I'll move in with you. For real, this time. Let's live together, Jeongguk." He was blushing quite obviously, smiling at his own words.

Jeongguk was smiling, too, and leaned in to give Taehyung a giddy peck on the lips.

"Thank you for agreeing, Tae. All your stuff is downstairs waiting for us."

     Taehyung's jaw dropped in mock-disbelief.

"You mean you took all my stuff while I was sleeping yesterday? That's a crime!"

Jeongguk secretly felt a pang of anxiety, but seeing as Taehyung seemed to be playing, he tried to play it cool. He knew Taehyung trusted him, he was just very worried about their relationship as of late. It hadn't been long since Taehyung was last fuming at him.

"I'm a master thief. I stole all of your stuff and you, too. You were really cute while you were asleep. Curled up in a cute little bundle, like a burrito, or a taco. A Taeco, if you will."

Taehyung laughed. "That was really lame, you know."

     "You love me anyway."

     "Maybe I do."
