Dylan's POV

"We've had someone that could possibly lead to find your brother,Mr.Wang"

My eyes widen at the words of the investigators words.

"Years of me looking !! , are you sure it's not a false lead?"

"Definitely not, I found photos of her on her social media holding a child that could've been the age , two years after your brother's disappearance"

"Can you send me the photo , please , I want to make sure it's him."

He bids me a farewell and rush to my computer shakily unlocking it, opening the email address to the investigator.

I go numb, the woman is holding ... my little brother.

I notice the scar on his leg and the small birthmark on his thumb... and my throat goes dry.

Delun, you're coming home and our parents can rest now.. and stop blaming me.

I cover my mouth unable to process any of it. Feng Mian on the name of the social media account.

Why did her name sound familiar, I type her full name on the google search bar attempting to find anything on her.

Feng Mian to marry Dean Fu, American Chinese born actor whom she has a son with.

Interviewer: what was it like leaving behind your past?

My phone rings and I look at it seeing it's Kido calling me.

"Dylan, about hanging out I can't today, things kinda went downhill for my step father today and it's just important family matters , I'm going to help him with"

"It's fine Kido, I think found a lead to my little brother"

A gasp is heard on the other side of the line. "Wait... really !?"

"Yeah, it's confirmed in a way, kinda found his adoptive mother, but she seems to be a complete bitch"

"What's her name, maybe I can dig up things on her?"

"Feng Mian"

"Dude, it can't be the same Feng Mian, that's literally making my step father look like crap"

I stand up shocked by Kido's words. "It can't be a coincidence, that they share the same exact name"

"How did you find things on her?"

"Her social media, account was on the picture , it read Feng Mian and the caption was literally a few years back, I miss you"

"Wow , she's a complete liar , and is feeding lies so people can support her"

My eyebrow raises in a questioning manner. "How would you know that?"

"Because my stepbrother , is literally coping with the fact his mother basically said he was replacement and how she meet up with him and she told him the whole truth"
