As Charles stood in his room with his hands which were previously raised now falling to his sides he could only be grateful that his family were not around to witness any of the drama.
Grace was determined to get him out of the house as a hostage but he could only think of how to overpower her and turn her over to the authorities.
She had been checking his wrist constantly as if she was waiting for something. Maybe she was waiting for Jude, Charles thought because there was no way she could have pulled everything off without help. Charles couldn't help but doubt Jude's innocence in everything that happened. He understood how betrayed Jude felt and how he had sought for revenge and it pained him to know that his mistake with his ex wife was the cause.

"Grace, did Jude send you to do this? I know he wasn't too happy with the things that happened before but would you also commit a crime just because of him? " Charles watched as her eyes lingered on his lower abdomen and it aggravated the level of embarrassment he was feeling. He couldn't do anything with his hands not even grab his towel to cover himself because he felt Grace was enjoying his predicament. He was exasperated, anxious and afraid but he had to find a way out of the mess.

"Jude? Jude would never hurt a fly. He couldn't even seduce your wife when he got the opportunity and to be honest I feel disappointed that you feel I'm incapable of fighting for what we had " This time Grace sat on the chair she had turned so that she could still be facing him.

Charles finally saw the source of the sound that woke him from sleep. A huge picture of Charles and Victoria had been shattered close to where Grace now sat. He even remembered how careless he had been when he didn't lock the front door to his living room. That was probably how she gained access into his house.

" I admit when I first got in and saw you in that position, I had wanted to join you. Then I saw her smiling, and I just felt this rage. You know Charles when those cops dragged Grace away, I couldn't help but rejoice at the easy way nature decided to rid me of a nuisance. She was the one who made Vicky lose your baby. I didn't plan on killing Vicky and the child, you know how I feel about miscarriages. My plan had been to keep her for months, then when she has the baby, I'll take him and we can be together. I even planned on getting Jude involved so that he could take the blame for Vicky's imminent death. But then that psychopath ruined everything. Funny how she agreed to kidnapping Vicky just for you to fuck her, just one time. She was really obsessed with you. " Grace laughed a bit then continued
Charles silently battled with her revelation and pondered on her sanity. If the other Grace was obsessed, what does she think is her own predicament?"

"I love you Charles, but I'm not obsessed with you" Grace spoke as if she read his mind

" She was the one who got Vicky I'm coma the first time, although the bullet was meant for Esther. But somehow  Victoria decided to become the martyr just so that she could rope you back into her arms, that slut!. You fell for it Charles, you wouldn't even look at me or talk to me. You told me to stay away from you but that wasn't what hurt me the most. The day you sleep walked to my house, I was thrilled. Ha! finally I could laugh Victoria in the face but then even though you were unconscious, you refused to touch me not even when I told you I was Victoria. You looked at me like - like I repulsed you and it broke my heart. Charles you became my reason to live the day we made love, you see the doctors had told me after the miscarriage that I could never conceive again but you came and you opened my eyes to a whole new world.

When I found out Vicky was pregnant I was happy too, it meant I could get another chance at being a mother with you as my partner. So when Nasa accidentally mentioned about their father when she came to admonish me about revealing the truth about her cheating husband I saw it as my one true chance to execute the plans I had made for a long time"
