Mavis' POV
"Current search on Mavis' previous encounter. The man who kidnapped and drowned you is dead. Found randomly near Ferris University. Found out that he is also one of the members of the failed students who have an intention to lower the rates of our school."

Ito ang anunsyo sa'min ni Yna habang nakatayo siya sa gitna ng opisina ni Flare na may hawak-hawak na clipboard at fini-flip ang mga papel doon.

Three days ago, I have been kidnapped and got almost drowned. Since then, Furrer Mafia has been keeping an eye on me. Not just keeping an eye but keeping a keen eye on me. At sino ang may pakana? The twins. They issued the order to the High Reapers with, of course, the big check of Tito Rux. At sino ako para tumanggi? Wala naman din akong magagawa dahil kahit anong refuse ko, they'll just keep on pushing on giving me a guardian, especially when I go out.

"Nahanap niyo na ba ang lugar kung saan sila nag-exchange ng transactions tungkol sa ginawa nilang abduction sa akin?" tanong ko.

Umiling siya. "Unfortunately, they're good at hiding. We couldn't track them but there's a piece of new information involved in this case."

"Tell us," ani Flare.

"Someone from our organization is a spy from Castell Organization," anunsyo niya. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko pero mukhang kalmado si Flare at Friar sa kanilang narinig.

Tumango-tango pa nga si Friar. "There's really a possibility na mayroong spy sa loob ng mafia natin. But we can't let the rat play any longer."

Tumango si Flare. "Is he with the minor reapers?"

"Yes," sagot ni Yna.

"Then, it'll be easier to get through with the traitor." Tumayo si Flare at nagbigay ng documents kay Yna. "Here are the documents for the previous events that happened in our school. Send this to the teachers. Might get those students with no proper manners low grades on their character. And give a warning concerned to one of the students on the list. Make sure to give each students' list on their respective advisers."

"Understood, sir," pagtango niya at umalis na sa opisina.

"So, you're going to issue an order to the High Reapers about the traitor?" tanong ni Friar nang marinig ang pagsarado ng pinto.

"I'll take Throne and Liz on doing this," aniya at lumingon kay Friar. "Pass the message to them."

"Roger that," nakangising sambit ni Friar at lumabas ng opisina hawak-hawak ang kanyang selpon.

Pagkalabas, tumingin sa akin si Flare at sinabing, "Let's go back to the club." At iyon nga ang ginawa ko. Sumunod ako sa kanya hanggang sa makarating kami sa club niya habang nakayuko ang ulo ko.

It's been three days since the abduction yet I still find myself being awkward when Flare is around. Pa'no ba naman kasi, sa dinami-dami pa kasi ng nangyari sa akin ay nalunod pa ako? Kaya tuloy nahalikan ako--este, CPR pala. But still! Our lips touched, though no tongue involved, still! He stole my first kiss on that freakin' CPR!

Suddenly, I heard a door slide open. Napataas ako ng tingin at nakita si Flare na nakalingon sa akin nang may nagtatakang ekspresyon.

"You're red."

"Eh?"

Lumapit siya sa akin at biglang nilagay ang kamay niya sa noo ko. Ang lapit ng mukha niya! Wah~

"You have no fever though," nakakunot-noo niyang sambit habang hawak-hawak rin ang kanyang noo.

I felt like my breath just got sucked out of my lungs. Ang lapit-lapit ng mukha niya at saka-saka ramdam ko ang init ng palad niya sa noo ko... Wah~ Humakbang agad ako ng isang beses patalikod at dumiretso ng tayo, at umiwas ng tingin sa kanya.
