Lost memories (Baxter)

Baxter's Pov:

I slowly lowered the eyedropper to the rim of the beaker, keeping myself eye level with it.

Carefully, I was about to squeeze a tiny droplet into the beaker when all of the sudden-

"BAXTER!!!" Yelled Angel, banging on the first door to my lab.

I had the volume for the live security feed I had installed around the hotel for my lab set to full volume, so I wasn't expecting the sudden interruption of Angel's yelling and banging.

Startled, I accidentally dripped the entire eye dropper into the beaker.

The thing started fizzing and bubbling violently.

I didn't have enough time to duck for cover.

The thing exploded, sending me flying back a few meters.

"Arrgg FUCK!!!" I screamed as I hit my head on the lab bench behind me.

The forced managed to knock me out.

Angel's Pov:

I heard an explosion and someone cussing loudly.

Now, I may be an asshole most of the time, but I still care about my friends.

A little worried I might have interrupted an experiment that caused the explosion, I decided to go find the only one who could get in quickly enough to see if Baxter was alright.

"(Y/N)!" I yelled out, peeking around the corner into the main lobby.

(Y/N) looked up from her laptop as she sat on the front desk, Husk sitting behind it drinking a bottle of alcohol and Niffty was dusting the computer monitor while leaning over his shoulder.

"Yah?" Asked (Y/N), closing her laptop.

I laughed nervously, sweating.

(Y/N) Pov:

I quickly phased through the floor until I was in Baxter's lab.

Angel told me what he heard, and I quickly summoned a shadow to take my laptop to the shadow realm before I phased through the floor.

I looked around panicked and found Baxter laying on the floor, unconscious.

I gasped and quickly flew over to him and crouched down beside him.

"Dammit! Angel was right" I say to myself.

I quickly checked for a pulse and sigh in relief when I felt one.

I then picked Baxter up and summoned a shadow.

I recently discovered that I can go through the shadow realm with other demons with me. It's basically like opening a portal that would open up wherever you need to go. Shadow demons can't phase through walls with other demons. It's too risky and I am not gonna carry him up the stairs. It would take too long.

Going through the portal the shadow opened up, we found ourselves in the hotel's infirmary.

I gently placed Baxter down on the bed and quickly glided down the halls to Charlie's office.

Time skip

The nurse packed up and left.

Baxter was ok, thank goodness.

The nurse said he would wake up in a couple minutes from now.

I decided to stay in the room with him, to make sure nothing goes wrong.
