Baxter's Pov:

I paced back and forth in the waiting room of the hospital.

I was nervous.

I had taken my gloves off to bite my fingernails, a nervous habit of mine.

Husk and Niffty were also here, both sitting on the chairs, watching me pace back and forth.

(Y/N) had gone into labor just a couple hours ago. She's finally reached her six month term in pregnancy.

Charlie allowed us to use her limo to get here. She couldn't get a hold of Razzle since he was the only one who had a driver's license, and Dazzle didn't know how to drive.

In the end, Husk had jumped into the driver's seat and drove us all the way to the hospital.

"Excuse me?" Asked a female nurse, snapping me out of my thoughts.

The three of us glanced up and spotted a tall, purple demon wearing a white nurse dress. She had goat legs with hooves for her feet, a long dragon tail, and long white hair with her bangs covering her eyes.

"Are you Mr.Baxter (L/N)?" She asked, glancing down at her clipboard quickly to read my name.

"Yah, that's me. How is she? How is the baby? Is everything alright?" I asked, scared that something may have gone wrong.

The nurse chuckled.

"How did you know the baby was a girl?" She asked in a joking matter.

"She's a....?" I said, trailing off, too stunned to speak.

The nurse nodded and gestured for us to follow.

We did and we went up to the fourth floor before stopping in front of room 407 in the maternal wing.

"Go ahead. Meet your daughter" she said, gesturing to the door before walking off.

"We'll wait out here. You go ahead and call us when you're ready" said Husk.

"I'll call Charlie to tell her the news! She and the others will be so happy!" Squealed Niffty, taking out her cellphone from her shoulder purse and dialing the number.

I nodded in understanding and grabbed hold of the doorknob, entering the room.

(Y/N), who was sitting in bed, glanced up as I closed the door behind me.

"Baxter! Come meet our daughter!" She said cheerfully, holding a bundle wrapped in a pink blanket.

I walked over to the bed and stood next to her, looking down at the bundle in her arms.

(Y/N) opened the blanket up some more so I could see our daughter properly.

I gasped at how beuatiful she was.

She was a Shadow demon like her mother, but instead of legs, she had a mermaid tail instead. The fins along her hips and at the tip of her tail were see-through sparkly fading from dark purple to magenta. She also had a pair of pixie wings that were like her fins. She had short, misty galaxy hair that was magenta with an anglerfish lure sticking out from it. She also had a light pink halo that appeared to be half-sticking out of her head, like it was stuck, one end appearing to be broken with a gap. She had thin black rings for her pupils with a red heart shape in the middle.

"She's so adorable and pretty!" I cooed, gushing.

(Y/N) giggled.

"Her birth certificate is over there. Could you grab it?" She asked, gesturing to a clipboard on the bedside table.
