Baxter's Pov:
We finally made it to the mansion district.
Spotting the (L/N) mansion, we picked up our pace and made a break for it.
Luckily for us, none of those strange Exterminators were here.
Landing on the ground, we ran up the path leading to the mansion.
Dashing up the steps, I knocked on the large double doors quickly, wanting to get to safety.
The door slowly opened just a crack, allowing Vanessa to peek through before opening the door fully.
"Quickly, come in, come in!" she said, ushering us in.
We quickly dashed inside, (Y/N)'s mother closing the door quickly and locking it.
"Quickly, the others are waiting for us in the meeting hall" she said, quickly walking down the hallway.
We followed her closely, making our way to the meeting hall.
"I'm so glad you made it here safely, although I never expected Husk and Niffty would come too, but the more the merrier. Regent will actually be happy they came along too" she said, smiling gently as she led us down the hallway.
She was still wearing her long black dress with the brown leather heeled boots. Resting on her shoulders, she was wearing a cloak that went down past her knees, her hair pulled back in a bun.
Her wings where drawn and tucked closely against her back, her tail swaying as she walked.
"I'm glad we made it safely too-" I started saying, but Husk butted in.
"Baxter here almost died because his fucking jetpack flamed out. We had to wait half an hour for him to fix it" said Husk bluntly.
Vanessa gasped and turned to look at me.
"Is this true?" she asked, shocked.
Nervously, I nodded.
"Yah.....Luckily Husk saved me though" I said, shrugging.
Vanessa sigh, but turned around and kept walking.
Finally making it to the meeting hall, Vanessa opened the doors to the large room.
Everyone turned when they heard the door open, some gasping when they saw who we were.
"Baxter! Serenade!" said Regent, rushing over and pulling the two of us into a hug.
"Grandpa Regent!" exclaimed Serenade, smiling.
"It's great to see you again" I said, smiling, hugging back.
Regent pulled away, Serenade still in his arms as he looked down at me.
"Husk and Niffty as well. I'm glad you two were able to come" said Regent before walking back. The three of us followed him to the front of the large group of demons who were also in the meeting hall. Vanessa and Hacker were also standing up near the front of the large group. Hacker was wearing what he normally wore, not much changing about him.
"Alright everyone, now that Baxter and Serenade are here, let's do a roll-call to make sure we're all here" said Regent.
"Vox, is everyone from the Inner Circle here?" he asked, looking at Vox. For some reason, the Inner Circle looked normal, as if nothing happened. They look unscathed.
"Yes, everyone minus (Y/N) is here" nodded Vox, frowning.
"Boss, from Boss Interprise?" asked Regent, looking over at a demon I've never seen before. He was wearing a dark grey suit with a red tie. His face had a long bloody scratch going through it, covered in a thin layer of shadow. Glowing above the layer of shadow, there was a pair of glowing red eyes and a mouth. His hands were long claws and he had short brown hair neatly combed.
