Chapter 7

"What did those prowlers do to our house?" Dream asked shocked as we walked into our house. All of the windows were shattered.

I glanced at her and shrugged. I walked up two flights of stairs to my Dad's office, ran straight to his book case, and started looking for a red velvet cover. I moved my finger along each one hoping that it would help me find it. What do I mean about my finger helping me find the book you may think?  I'm hoping my powers will somehow give me a sign of where it is. So far there's no such luck.

"Do you think the prowlers took the book when they broke into the house? Or maybe Dad moved it from where it was before!" Dream said. She always thinks of the worst case scenarios.

I thought about what Dream said. It would make sense for the prowlers to take the book. We wouldn't be able to defeat them without it. There's also a good chance Dad hid the book somewhere too. I went back to looking for the book . All of a sudden I heard a whole bunch of things falling behind me. I turned around and there's books flying off the shelves everywhere!

"What did you do?" I asked Dream.

"I did nothing! I thought something in my mind about the book and all these books started flying off the shelves all over me!" Dream wailed.

I saw a royal blue folder on the floor next to my right foot. I picked it up from the floor and opened it. Huh, birth certificates. I found mine and smiled. Next to my birth certificate was another birth certificate. I looked for the name and gasped at what I saw.

"Hey Dream look at this!" I said handing the blue folder to her.

"Oh my gosh! She wasn't lying! We actually have another sister. Be found Clover, Colleen, and I before she went after you. She told us the story about Mom letting the vampires kidnap her. I wonder why Mom still would want her birth certificate after everything that's happened," Dream said curiously.

I crouched down on the ground and grabbed a mustard colored folder. I opened it up and saw a newspaper clipping. It was an interesting type of newspaper clipping though. It looked like a news clipping from the witch world.

Hello folks! We have exciting news folks! The births of the four elements are complete! We'll be safe from the werewolves, and the vampires! It's such a beautiful thing to finally see a mother being able to say her four girls are the four elements. Let's hope they'll be able to protect us from the new evil witch clan. Did you guys hear that they have a little girl on their team now? Her name is Be. She's the most powerful witch I've ever seen. The four elements better be prepared for the year 2010!  That's when everything will happen. What exactly is everything? Well, let's just say a lot of things we've never thought existed will exist.  This is the witch news. Thanks for reading!

I read the date and gasped.  The date was October 15, 1996! The day after my birth. I walked over to where Dream was sitting and handed her the newspaper clipping. Dream grabbed it and started reading. I felt scared at the moment. What did the newspaper clipping mean by everything we never thought existed will exist? I really need to find that book now!

"Are you serious? They've been waiting for this day to happen for over fourteen years! Why did Mom and Dad take away our powers until now? We could've trained before this! Don't they understand it's already July?" Dream asked me seriously.

"I know what you mean Dream. It looks like this article is implying that we have to kill whatever's holding Mom and Dad hostage before next year," I said.
