Chapter 3: Rise Of The Turtles Part 1

3rd pov

Everyone was training in the dojo deep below the sewers of New York City.

Raph against Donnie.

Leo against Mikey.

Myra was sitting at the sideline watching with no emotion on her face. As a kunoichi, she knew when training ment serious business.

Raph and Donnie crouched down looking directly into each other's eyes. As Leo and Mikey got up from positions and had their weapons out looking at each other until Leo was the first one to make a move and let out a battle cry as he swung his katana at Mikey.

"Oh yeah. Michelangelo's on the move." Mikey called out as he swung his nunchucks around and dodged Leo's attack.

"You know what to do. I'm here, I'm there. I can be anywhere." Mikey kept talking until he barely had dodged another swing as Leo smirked at him.

"How do you stop what you can't even see?" Mikey smiled and made a move for it as Leo stood still and flipped his sword and punched Mikey in the stomach with the handle as he groaned in pain.

"Like that?" Leo said flatly.
"Good one, Leo." Mikey said weakly.

Now Raph and Donnie face each other as Donnie twirled his staff around and paused glaring at Raph. Raph cracked his neck side to side.

"Alright Donnie, put down the staff and no one gets hurt." He warned.
"Ah you said that last time Raph and then you hurt me." Donnie said.
"Yeah but, less than I would have." Raph shrugged his shoulders.
"Yeah right"." Donnie swung his stick and almost aimed at Raph's face and let out a battle cry.

Donnie twirled his staff one more time and went down for an attack but Raph quickly grabbed it, twirled it and broke it as he smirked devilishly.
"Should've dropped the staff?" Donnie asked worried.
"Should've dropped the staff." He said and kept hitting Donnie with his broken weapon as he cried out in pain.
"Ok, ok ow, I'm down!"

Leo came up as Raph dropped the broken staff and Donnie went to sit next on the other side of Myra who still kept a straight face and Mikey stuck his tongue out at him.

"Onegai shimasu." Leo said.
"Whatever you say". Raph twirled his sai as he and Leo began their spar.

Throughout most of the fight it was mostly metal clashing each other and the sounds of battle cries as the spar continued. Leo side swept Raph's legs as he quickly got back up but Leo had the upper hand and knocked one of Raph's sai to the wall the others sat as Myra barely moved her head to the side as the sai came hailing towards her, still keeping a straight face.

Both boys let out a final battle cry as they ran towards each other. Raph causing Leo to lose his only one sword as he plummeted Leo to the ground causing him to groan in pain and look up and Raph standing above him. "Nice try." He smirked until a loud voice caught their attention.

"Yame!" They turned to see their sensei walk up towards him as the others sat down in a line, Leo bowing his head.

"You all did very well." Splinter said.
"But I did better." Raph remarked.
"This is about self improvement Raphael, it is not about winning and losing." Splinter said.
"I know sensei. But I won and they lost." Raph said smugly as he put his hands behind his head until splinter touched a pressure point causing Raph to cry in pain. "Ahh! But the important thing is that we all did our best. Good job everyone!" He yelled and splinter let go as Raph sighed in relief as splinter chuckle a little.

"Father." Myra called out as everyone looked at her getting her tessens out. "I'm ready." She stated.
"Very well, you will spar with Raphael." He said calmly.
"Umm, isn't that a little... unfair?" Raph asked.
"What do you mean? Raphie to weak to put up a fight with his sister?" She smirked teasingly. "I thought we agreed to stop calling me that." He said a little annoyed.
"Really? I can't recall." Myra's smirk widen.
"You're goin' down." He said smirking back as they both twirled their weapons and got into position.
"I think Myra's been hangin' with Raph too much." Mikey whispered to Donnie.
"You and me both." He whispered back. Then the spar began.

Both grunted and made small battle cries as they both tried desperately to pin the other down.

Myra back flipped, kicked, leg swept, punched, swung her weapons and dodged as she smiled at her brother. "Growing weak, Raphael?" She asked mockingly.

"You're the one to talk, princess." He smirked back and leg swept her and before she could get back up, Raph pinned her down. "Ha! I win. How do you feel, princess?" He gloated. "Eh, squished." She stated.

"Yame." Splinter said. Raph helped her up and smiled at her. Very well, you are growing stronger Myrina. No doubt your mother would be proud."
"Thank you, father." She bowed as sensei left the dojo.

"Nice one, Myra. You were so close to pinning Raph! But luckily, he went easy on ya". Mikey said putting his hands on Raph's shoulders. "Yeah, easy." Raph said sarcastically and shoved Mikey back as he crossed his arms.
"Aww, he's going soft." Mikey said teasingly at Raph.
"Let's see how soft I land this punch on ya." Raph stated, cracking his knuckles.
"Mikey, there's a 99.9999 percent chance that Raph will NOT go soft on anyone during training." Donnie said.
"We'll see about that." Raph chuckled.
"Oh, like this?" Myra said as everyone looked behind them and up to see Myra laying in the tree, twirling one of Raph's sai.

"Why you sneaky little princess"~ Raph walked closer to her.
"Come and get me, Mr. Hotshot"~ she replied.
"Oh snap". Mikey said.
"Hmmm, I don't think I like your tone, Myrina".~ Raph crossed his arms and Myra was hanging upside down from the tree. "I don't I like your face Raphael.~" She said still holding the sai.
"Raph, are you gonna let her talk to you like that?" Donnie smirked.
"Nope, I don't think I will.~" Raph said smirking wider.

"What do you guys mean?" Myra asked worryingly as she got down from the tree.
"It means...." Everyone held up their hands, curling their fingers and smirking devilishly. "Run." Leo said as Myra dropped the sai and started running around the dojo laughing. "No no no no no noooooo"!" Myra yelled as they all caught up and pinned her down, tickling her as she laughed so hard.

"That'll teach you to mess with me, princess.~" Raph said as Myra tried to breathe. "P-please... s-stooop!" She yelled between laughs.

"Alright guys, let her go." Leo said as they all laughed a little, letting Myra catch her breath as she laid on the floor, the others above her. "J-jerks." Myra laughed one last time as Leo helped her up. "Love ya too, little sis." Raph grabbed his sai and they all left to the kitchen for today was a special celebration.
