Chapter 41: The Kraang's Secret Plan

3rd pov

They all walked inside the lab as Donnie was walking up with a canister containing a blue like substance.

"April and I were going through some of the kraang storage device. We found out that they're using a special process to change earth's water into kraang water." Donnie explained.
"They already started the process. We found a low concentration of kraang chemicals in the sewage." April stated.
"And I take it that's a bad thing." Raph said. Myra was about to speak when Raph but his hand over my mouth. "I know what you're gonna say. When it comes to the kraang, everything they do is bad, yada yada yada. I know." He took his and away and Myra nodded.
"Watch what happens when I dip this slice of Mikey's shrimp and sardine pizza into pure kraang water." Donnie dipped the pizza in and half of it dissolved in a matter of seconds. This made Mikey widen his eyes in horror.

"How do you sleep at night?!" He whined.
"Presently, there's only a tiny bit in the water supply, but the concentration is increasing, which means-"
"Every slice of pizza in New York will be destroyed?" Mikey whimpered.
"Along with anyone who uses water." April stated.
"Or drinks it." Myra added flatly.
"I don't wanna live in a world without pizza!" Mikey grabbed a pizza box which the canister containing the chemical was knocked down, spilling onto Myra's and April's arm as they all exclaimed in horror.

But it turns out, they were completely normal.

"Nothing happened to y'all." Donnie said.
"Maybe it's because they're not made out of pizza." Mikey said.

They were interrupted when a scanner from Donnie's computer went off.

"The scanners located the kraang facility transforming the water supply, which is right here." Donnie pointed at a red dot on the computer map. "We gotta stop it!"
"Well, looks like we got a mission. You coming, April?" Leo asked.
"Sounds like a blast, but unfortunately, it's on the bottom of the east river, and equally unfortunately, I have an essay due. Plus I wouldn't mind a little human food." She grabbed her bag.
"Pizza's human food." Mikey stated.
"Not the way you eat it." April retorted.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, you're going topside?" Donnie climbed over his desk and fell down but stood up. "You got your T-phone right?" He asked.
"Donnie, don't worry. I'll be fine." She said and left.
"So, Donnie, how are we gonna get out there?" Leo asked.
"Don't worry, guys. I've been working on something pretty awesome." Donnie stated.

They were in a giant turtle like submarine powered by workout bicycles as they swam across the water. Everyone but Myra was peddling on the bikes, out of breath. There were only three bikes.

"This... is not... awesome." Raph panted.
"Really, Donnie? A submarine powered by bicycles?" Leo questioned.
"You know what would be more efficient? Swimming!" Raph said.
"Hey, pipe down guys. Kinetic energy is the only to charge the engines which should be done right about now." Donnie stated. He pushed some buttons and flipped a few switches making the boosters take control and the others stopped peddling to take a breath as they glided through the water.

"We're almost there. Up periscope." Leo ordered and Donnie pushed a button and a periscope came down. Leo looked through it, not knowing there was a giant like fish creature swimming around.

"Guys, I sense something's in the water." Myra said, clutching her head.
Leo took a look through the periscope to see a giant like tail pass by.
"Uh, Donnie. Any chance this kraang facility looks like a giant sea mutant?" Leo asked.
"Oh that's not a mutant." Donnie stated.
"Then what is it"? Leo asked.
"Based on its physiologically, I'd say the kraang brought him here from dimension X". Donnie explained.
"So the kraang have a pet that looks like the Nessie the Loch Ness monster. Yay." Myra said flatly with her arms crossed.
"How is that less horrifying?" Leo asked.
"It's not, I just like to be accurate." Donnie stated.
"Well, whatever it is, it looks like it's guarding that." Raph pointed at a giant dome like building.
"Let's go stealth." Leo ordered and they left the sub.

Meanwhile, April was walking around town, heading to mister Murakami's place but stopped at a antique vending machine. She crouched down to get a good look at the items to order.

"Hm. This is new. What is this thing?" She questioned.
"Oh, that's how you order." A girl walked up to her in a biker's like jacket. She slid a coin in, pressed a button and a wooden chip with a food label carved into it came out. "They have these in Tokyo. You give this to the chef." She stated.
"Oh, thanks." April slid a coin in and pressed a button of her carving.
"Mind if I join you?" The girl asked.
"Sure. Why not?" April said and walked away, not knowing that the girl is Karai.

"Hi, Murakami-san". April greeted as she sat down with her "friend".
"April-chan. How are you?" He said.
April placed her carving down and Murakami picked it up, feeling the carving. "Ah, pizza gyoza!" He said.
"Hai. Chou oishi." April said.
"You speak Japanese?" The girl asked.
"I picked up a few words from... my brothers. And... sister." April said.
"Brothers? Sister? Tell me about them." She said.
"Oh, you know, crazy-"
"Animals?" She questioned with a smirk.
"Pretty much, yeah." April replied.
"And what about your sister?" She asked.
"She's... well, a little shy. But she taught me a little bit of French as well." April stated.
"Nice. Although, I never heard of pizza gyoza back in Tokyo." She said.
"That's because Murakami invented it. You should try one." April explained.
"Only if you try some of mine." She said.
"Done." April chuckled.

The girl placed her carving down, letting the chef pick it up and feel it's carving.
Murakami was hesitant for a moment but shrugged it off to prepare their food.

"What's your name?" She asked.
"I'm April." April introduced.
"My name's... Harmony." She said.

Dun dun DUN. A CLIFFHANGER. Please don't hate me. I've been sleeping in a lot and also I got home late today because I got my hair cut so I'm tired. Plz don't hate me.
