Chapter 19: Never Say Xever

Myra pov

We all were sneaking our way in the shadows following April. She said that she was going to show us a place she always visits.

"You guys wanna speed it up a little?" She asked.
"Are you saying turtles are slow?" Donnie asked, appearing behind a building in front of her.
"That's a hurtful stereotype." Mikey stated.
"Trust us, April, we are bettering off at keeping a low profile. We find out people treat us better when they don't know we exist." Leo said as I kept turning my head in opposite directions to keep a look out.

"Sorry, I'm just excited to get you out of the sewers for a change." April said happily.
"What you talking about? We do it all the time." Raph said.
"Yeah, put tonight you're gonna do something besides hitting people." April stated
"Awwww." Raph groaned disappointingly.
"Don't worry, you're gonna love this noodle place I found. And maybe Myra might make a new friend." April smiled
"A-a-a-a-a friend?!" I asked nervously.
"Yeah, but don't worry, I'll help you with that part if you want." April told me.
"And you're sure we'll be welcomed"? Donnie asked nervously.
"Oh yeah, Mr. Murikami won't care what you'll look like. In fact, he won't know what you look like. He's blind." April stated.
"AWESOME!" Mikey yelled then Raph smacked him on the head. "I mean, for us, obviously." He smiled nervously.

We made our way to the noodle place only to see people wrecking the place.

"Oh no!" April said.
"Who are those creeps?" Donnie asked.
"The purple dragons. They think they own the streets around here." April stated angrily.

What's even worse is that they were beating up the blind guy.

"So much for not hitting people tonight." Leo said sarcastically.
"Oh well." Raph smiled as we ran in.
"BOOYAKASHA"! Mikey yelled.
"Alright let him go. We don't want any trouble." Leo said.
"We on the other hand do!" Raph smirked, looking back at me as I got in my ready stance.

"Whoa, those guys were serious. They really are giant turtles along with the girl!" The one who looked like the leader said.

"You heard of us? Dudes, we're famous!" Mikey yelled.
"That's bad." Donnie stated.
"Oh, right." He said.

"Whatever you are this neighborhood is ours. So why don't you slither back to the ocean you came from?" Fong said.

"Actually, we're fresh water turtles. I suspect-"
"GET EM!" Donnie was about to say something scientific but Fong interrupted him and the fight broke out.

Mikey and Donnie were handling Sid while Raph and I handled Tsoi and Leo handled Fong as April lead Murikami safely outside the building. Until we almost took everyone down, Leo side kicked Fong to the wall about to punch him but instead Leo let him go.

"Get outta here." Leo said angrily and Fong pushed him out of the way.

"Come on, lets go. This ain't over, greenie!" Fong yelled and ran away.

"Greenie? Really? Wonder how many brain cells you put to work on that." Donnie said.

"You just let him go?! What the heck was that?!" Raph yelled.

"They weren't exactly a threat. They've had enough." Leo sated.

"Dude! They were beating up a blind guy! There is no enough. Now they think we're wimps and we don't have the guts to finish the job!" Raph said angrily as April brought Murikami back in.

"Wow, that was great you guys!" April said.
"Thanks, April. Did you see the one part where I flipped the guy over the counter? Did it look cool? Did it look cool?" Donnie chuckled.
"The coolest!" April smiled nervously.
"You didn't see it did ya?" Donnie asked flatly.
"No I did not." April stated.
