Chapter 12: I Think His Name Is Baxter Stockman

Myra pov

I was meditating with father in the dojo. All was peaceful and silent until yelling from the other room got our attention.

We walked out to see a  mess and Mikey started to skate down a railing that looks like he built himself about to jump over the others.

"WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE?!" Father yelled which caused all of them to stand up nervously.

"Sensei!" Leo shouted as Mikey crash landed on everyone as I face palmed.

"How many times have I told you not to skate board in the lair?" Father asked sternly.
"None, sensei."Mikey answered.
"I shouldn't have to tell you"! Father said.
"You're right sensei, we definitely should've known better, and we deserve to be punished. If so." Leo said.
"And do you think would be a fitting punishment?" Father got close to Leo's face as he turned to look at everyone who didn't answer.
"Well, w-we should... clean up our mess?" Leo said nervously though it sounded more like a question as father crossed his arms. "And then.... think about what we did." Leo finished as everyone agreed.
"What about being grounded for a week?" Father asked as everyone started disagreeing.
"YOU'RE GROUNDED FOR A WEEK!" Father yelled as everyone groaned until the rail tipped over and came crashing down which caused everyone to stand up straight.

'Unbelievable'. I thought.

I was on my laptop as everyone was sitting down doing their own thing but Raph was groaning in frustration as he paced back and forth.

"God, this bites. I can't believe we're stuck down here for a whole week." He complained.
'I can' I thought until Donnie came running in shouting.
"Guy guys, wanna see what I made?" He asked excitedly.
"This is how bored I am. Yes Donnie, I do."Raph said.
"Ok, ok, remember the other day I was scrounging around that military junkyard?" He asked as we all answered no. "Well I found an incredibly advanced A.I microchip and I used to make this. The most advanced music player in the world!" He showed us the object.
"Whoa"... We said in unison.
"So who wants to try it?" Donnie asked.
"I DO! Toss me the T-pod!" Mikey yelled.
"The T-pod?" Donnie asked confusingly.
"Turtle. Pod. T-pod." Mikey chuckled. "I'm so good at naming stuff." Donnie handed Mikey the T-pod as he put the headphones in.

"You're really gonna plug a piece of advanced military technology directly into Mikey's head, what if it melts his brain?" Raph asked.

"It won't. And even if it did who'd know the difference?" Donnie joked as Mikey pressed a button and screamed. "What, what's wrong?!" Donnie asked worryingly.
"It's polka, make it stop make it stop!" Mikey cried out. What a way to hate on polka music.
Donnie walked up and pressed a different button as Mikey thanked him and started dancing while everyone was watching but Leo blocked my eyes and I managed to push his fingers apart to see.

"That's it, I gotta get outta here." Raph stated.
"Where are you going? We're grounded." Leo said.
"I don't care, I gotta do somethin' or I'm gonna go nuts." Raph flipped a skateboard in the air and caught it. "Let's find a skate spot."

"Skate spot? I'm totally in!" Mikey yelled.
"Well what's splinter gonna say?" Leo asked.
"I don't know what's going on because they snuck out when I was asleep." Raph said, imitating father.
"Ha, real mature, but I'm your leader, and as your leader I say nobody's going." Leo stated.
"Well, as your followers, we're going anyway." Raph said.
"Well, as your leader, I am going with you.. to lead you away... from.. bad stuff." Leo said hesitantly. That was until Mikey screamed again. "What's wrong?" Leo asked.
"Its back to polka. We gotta get more tunes on this." Mikey said.

"So.. you're sneaking out?" I asked.
"Yup. You coming, princess?" Raph asked me. I just glared at them.
"Look, Myra, we'll just be out for a little bit." Leo said.
"I thought you were supposed to be setting a good example as leader, Leo." I glared.
"Look, I'm trying ok. We'll be out and back in no time. I promise I'll make it up to you if you don't tell sensei." Leo said almost begging.
I groaned. "Deal."

"So you coming or what?" Raph asked.
"No I'm not, cause you never know if you might end up getting in trouble. So have fun." And with that said I walked back to my room and layed down in bed as I fell asleep.

(A few hours later)

I woke up and checked the time to see it was 2 a.m. I got up to see of my brothers got back so I silently opened and closed my door as I checked their rooms. They were still out.

"Never let them bribe me again." I said quietly to myself as I heard voices so I quickly hid behind the wall as I saw my brothers enter from the sewer drain.

"Alright, we made it home." Raph said a little loudly.
"Shhh, it's 2 a.m." Leo hushed.
'Ya, no kidding' I thought.
"And splinter and Myra are still asleep. This epic." Mikey said.
"It's not epic, it was a really bad idea." Leo said.
'Should've listened to me' I thought again.
"No it wasn't." Raph front flipped over onto a bean bag chair. "We got out there and stopped the guy, so what's the problem?" Raph asked.
"The problem is that I should've listened to Myra. She was the only smart one about this situation." Leo said.

"Ya think?" I called out. But I didn't see that Mikey trying to look for something as I walked towards them.
"MYRA!" They all looked shocked as I stood there with my arms crossed, not very happy.
"Ummm.... hey, Myra, how'd you... sleep?" Leo tried starting a conversation.
"Don't ' hey, Myra' me Leonardo." I said sternly.
"Ohhh, she's getting serious." Mikey said.

"You told me 'in and out'. That was our deal. But what do you do? Go out for literally the whole night."
"Look, it wasn't our fault. We got caught up in a... situation." Leo paused.
"What kind of 'situation?" I asked.
"We fought this powered battle armored guy quickly. It was actually pretty sad." Raph laughed.
I looked back at Leo.
"Long story." Leo said.
"Oh I know. Its not a story I have time for. But maybe father would have time.... if he were to find out." I said.
"You wouldn't. We made a deal." Leo told me.
"I'm not saying I'll tell him. I'm just saying if he does find out, y'all are in big trouble." I said.
"So... you're not gonna say anything?" Leo asked.
"If the situation was solved, I guess not. But-"
"I still owe you, I know." Leo smiled as I nodded back at him and made my way back to my room to get some more sleep.
