Chapter 14: Baxter Stockman Has The T-Pod

Myra pov

We were training in the dojo but I could tell my brothers were a little off balance.

Father was lecturing them about what they were doing wrong but it didn't help.
Leo dozed off doing a hand stand. Raph couldn't focus. Mikey was way out of it and Donnie fell face first onto the ground and groaned in pain.

"Yame!" Father yelled as they kneeled down. "Is there something you want to tell me"? Father asked.

"Something we wanna tell you? Ha, nope." Mikey answered.

"You all seem tired today." Father said.

"We're not."
"Wide awake."
"Fresh as daisies."

They all remarked until Mikey yawned and face planted into the ground.

"Then I guess you would not abject to a little... Randori." Father said, holding up a wooden bokken. I can tell this will be painful.

Father smacked them and they laid on the floor groaning in pain. "I hope you learn that the truth isn't the only thing that hurts. And I hope you learn from this experience, Myrina." Father said as I nodded fearfully.

Training was over and the others were doing their own thing. Leo had space heros on as we watched it and I smiled as he had his dorky smile on as he quoted the show again.

"Seen this enough times there, chief?" Raph asked ad he looked up from his comic.

"Would you shhhh, this is the best part". Leo said as it changed the channel to breaking news and Leo groaned but changed to a shocked expression as we saw this guy in metal armor wrecking an office.

"Who are you?"A guy on t.v. asked.

"You'll never know. I'm the thing that haunts your nightmares. I'm the nameless shadow who-" the guy in the armor got cut off by another guy.

"Baxter? Baxter Stockman?" The guy asked.

"No!" He said nervously.

"Hey everybody, it's Baxter Stockman!" The guy said again.

"I think his name is Baxter Stockman." Raph said
"Nah duh." I laughed.
"How did he upgrade his armor so fast?" Leo asked as the t.v. paused on something that looked like the T-pod in his armor.

"He has the T-pod?!" Donnie asked a little angry.
"Oh um heh, I might've dropped that during the fight." Mikey said nervously.
"You dropped it during the fight? NICE GOING MIKEY!" Donnie yelled.
"It's your fault!" Mikey yelled back.
"How is it my fault?!" Donnie asked.
"You know I can't be trusted with nice things!" Mikey said as Donnie glared at him.

"So the A.I chip upgraded his armor the same way it upgraded the T-pod." Leo guessed.
"And if it keeps going there's no telling how powerful he'll get." Donnie stated.
"This has gone way too far, we have to tell Splinter about this."Leo said.
"What, just because we turned some nut job into a super villain? Do you know what he'll do to us for that? I mean he pounded us into the ground just for being sleepy." Raph remarked.

"Look, we bet Stockman once we can bet him again. We track him down, grab the T-pod and be back here before splinter knows anything." Donnie said.

"If my opinion counts for anything, Donnie's right." Mikey said.
"Hey thanks, Mikey." Donnie smiled then glared. "But it doesn't."
"Didn't think so." Mikey flipped through a comic.

"I can't believe being out for a few hours can cause this sort of problem. I'm glad I stayed behind but now I'm gonna help you." I said determinedly.

"No way. We are not letting you help us. This is our mess and we have to fix it. Besides, what's splinter gonna say?" Leo asked.
