Chapter 47: Showdown part 1

3rd pov

The kraangdroids were doing their work trying to prepare for the next plan until a kraangdroid droid spoke.

"Kraang, a message from kraang's glorious leader..." the droid said.
"KRAANG PRIME"! Another droid yelled.

The screen turned on to reveal a giant brain in a mega suit as the kraangdroids waved their hands in the air.

"Kraang! Kraang! Kraang! Kraang"! They chanted.
"The invasion that is known as the invasion of earth begins. NOW"! Kraang prime yelled.
"Kraang. Kraang. Kraang. Kraang". They chanted as they marched in place.
"Prepare the technodrome". A kraangdroid ordered as the other droids got back to work.

Until the kraang communicator orb went off inside Donnie's lab.

"Holy Toledo". Donnie started typing away on his computer.
"What's with the alarm Donnie"? April asked.
"The kraang communication orb is going haywire, which means those little brain- blobs are up to something big". Donnie stated as he scrolled through the files.
"What is this? Alien language? Can you decode this stuff"? April asked.
"I guess we're about to find out. Translating now". Donnie said. He pressed a button on the keyboard and both of them gasped in shock.

The others were in the living and Leo watched t.v as it pronounced the final episode of space heroes.

Leo grew excited as he was about to watch captain Ryan sacrifice himself.

"What a hero". Leo mumbled but Donnie came in and turned off the t.v
"What are you doing? That was the final episode of space heroes"! Leo glared at Donnie.
"I got a little something more important". Donnie stated and they walked in his lab.

"April and I have been sifting through all the kraang chatter, and, well, listen to what we translated". Donnie typed at his computer, not knowing Mr. O'Neill was watching them from afar.
"The final phase of the plan known as kraang's invasion shall commence in the unit of time that is six hours. The technodrome shall arrive from dimension X through the portal". Donnie decoded the kraang orb.
"Are you sure this is the translated version"? Mikey asked and Donnie face palmed.
"They said in six hours, something called the technodrome is coming through that portal. This is the final phase of the kraang invasion". Donnie stated.
"No. It can't be". Myra mumbled, all wide eye.
"Wait, but I thought April was the key to the kraang plot, and they don't have her". Leo pointed.
"If that technodrome comes through the portal, well, it sounds like the end of the world". Donnie stated.
"So what do we do"? Raph asked.
"Guys, we gotta find a way to shut that portal down. Its up to us". Leo stated.
"Save the world"? Mikey asked until Splinter walked in.

"Leonardo is right. When you first went up to the surface, I feared you were not ready. But I have come to realize that you are not only ready to become heroes, it was your destiny. And if the fate of the world must rest in somebody's hands, I am grateful it is yours". Splinter explained as they bowed and ran out the lab.

"Leonardo, a moment, please". Splinter said as Leo faced him.
"With the world at stake, the only thing of importance is that you complete your mission". Splinter stated.
"Yes sensei". Leo replied.
"No mater what you have to sacrifice, or who". He said. Leo nodded and sensei left the lab.

Leo walked out of the lab to see the others waiting on the game plan.

"So, what's the plan Leo"? Myra asked.
"First step of the plan, you stay here". Leo walked right past her.
"What?! No way! You are not leaving me here"! Myra yelled.
"Face it. It's to dangerous for you". Leo stated, not looking at her.
"Uh, no it's not. No matter how much you deny it, you need me. I know a lot about the kraang. Probably more than you"! She shouted.
"Look, I'm doing this so I know you're out of harm's way". He stated.
"I appreciate your concern, but I'm fine. So don't treat me like a little girl. I'm going on this mission to take down the kraang, and you can't stop me". She got in his face, pointing at him.

"Face it, you wouldn't even last two seconds out there". Leo glared.
"I bet I could last longer the you. You can't do this to me"! She yelled.
"Yes, I can". Leo pushed her aside and kept walking.
"Look Leo, you guys need me! I know-"
"I'm done arguing Myra. You're staying here. That's an order". Leo said.
"An order? An order?! Who are you to order me around"?! She got in front of Leo.
"I am, cause I'm your older brother, and I'm doing this to protect you"! Leo said.
"Yell I don't need you to protect me! So-"
"Look Myra, why can't you just listen?! I'm doing this so you don't get in the way! Now you're. Staying. HERE"! Leo yelled as she widen her eyes in shock and backed up. The others were shocked as well.
"Have I made myself clear"? He glared.
"More than enough. I'll follow your stupid order. But that doesn't me you control me". She whispered almost as if she was about to cry and went to her room, slamming the door shut as Leo watched her.

"Dude, I think you were a little harsh on her". Mikey said.
"Yeah, I've never seen you yell at her. Ever". Raph said.
"She has to learn that I'm doing this to protect her". Leo stated.
"Yeah, but-"
"No". Leo interrupted Donnie. "She has to know that this is a dangerous mission. I can't let her get hurt. And I think you all know that". Leo said as the others hung their heads down, keeping quiet.
"Now, let's move". Leo ordered.

Everyone was preparing for battle as Donnie made new inventions to help out on the mission while splinter meditated.

They all stood outside the entrance as April hugged Donnie bye and splinter watched them.

"Is Myra coming out"? Mikey asked.
"I don't think so. But let's not worry about that right now". Raph replied.
"Gentlemen, let's save the world". Leo said and they drive away in the shellraiser.

Sry for the short chapter. Getting ready for school. But I do know I'm gonna complete this book before school starts and I want to let you know that on the second book I'm gonna make, updates may be slower, like one or twice a week when school starts, just a little heads up.
