Chapter 436: Barcelona Day Two

The next morning Justin and Autumn woke up again with a nice  breeze blowing in their face.

"Just another day in paradise." Autumn says.

"Yes it is." Justin says.

"I am so happy to be here." Autumn says.

"Me too baby." Justin says.

"I love this country." Autumn says.

"Yeah it is fun. I love the different cultures." Justin says.

"Oh me too." Autumn says.

They both get up and get dressed. Justin shuts the balcony doors. Once they were ready they head out into the living room. Everyone meets out there. The boys order breakfast while the girls get the kids up, dressed and ready. The food arrives and they all sit down and eat.

"So what's on the agenda today?" Taylor asks.

"Yeah what are we doing today?" Jake asks.

"We got a few things planned." Justin says.

"Yup one things involves a zoo." Autumn says.

"And other things." Geno says.

"I can't wait." Anna says.

"Let's go and have fun." Nadia and Madison both say.

"Let's go." Sid and Kris sAy.

They clean up and and travel through the picturesque Catalan countryside to Girona.

"This is fun." Madison says.

"Yes it is." Nadia says.

"I agree a much needed adventure." Autumn says.

Continue to Pals, a cobbled town coiled beneath the remains of a castle and, after nan introductory tour, enjoy free time to explore. Then, pass Begur's medieval castle on route to the Costa Brava seaside village of Calella de Palafrugell, famous for its rugged coves.
They had free time to relax, where they swam from a cove, stroll around the clifftop Cap Roig botanical gardens. Discover the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea while kayaking to coves and small caves, and snorkel for a better glimpse of marine life. This trip takes them to a picturesque beach, where kayak guides share their expertise. A deli-style lunch and all gear is provided so there's nothing to do but relax. 

"That was fun." Kris says.

"Yes it was." Sid says.

"On to the next adventure, the kids will love." Justin says.

"Yes they will." Jake says.

"Let go." Geno says.

From there they travel to Spain's world-famous Port Aventura theme park, set along the sun-drenched CostaDorada, with an admission pass to ridesto kid-friendly play areas sure to please the whole family. They continue their journey south from the city to the theme park.
Once they arrive, head inside this massive adventure park (Europe's second-largest) as they explore the park's five distinct zones, each of which represents a different park of the world, plus a kid-friendly section for young children. There's the Mediterrània area, modeled after a typical seaside village in Catalonia, as well as the cowboy-themed Far West section, the Asian-themed China zone (complete with Great Wall), the tropical-tinged Polynesia district. Families will also have access to the children's SésamoAventura area, which celebrates the famous Sesame Street television show.
Spread among the park's numerous zones are a variety of rides, offering everything from jaw-dropping thrills to more mellow amusements. Zoom down the Shambhala, the highest rollercoaster in Europe, which drops from a 256-foot (78m) peak, or strap in for a trip on board the Furius Baco, an acceleration ride that tops out at 84 miles (135km) per hour. Among the other attractions on offer are water flumes, boat rides, white-water rafting experiences and several experience simulators.
When they need to take a break, stop by one the park's fun-filled shows. Performances change daily but include a variety of acrobatic and dance-filled delights. There's also the Sesame Street parade featuring much-loved characters including Big Bird and Cookie Monster. They finish and head onto their next location. The kids nap on their ride there
They head to the Barcelona Zoo, a modern facility. Head inside this sprawling facility, which covers almost 32 acres (13 hectares) of animal exhibits. They use the park's mini-train to move around and they also hire one of the zoo's electric cars. The zoo is split into various sections, each of which house spacious enclosures for different types of creatures like mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Visit all the most-recognizable creatures you'd expect to find at a zoo, including tigers, lions, hippos, and monkeys, along with some of Spain's more indigenous animals like the Iberian wolf. Information plaques and interactive displays help provide educational details about each creature. They also visit an 'infants' zoo' which offers tamer animals for young children, and a dolphinarium, offering a tank where playful dolphins put on a show in front of the exhibit's large windows.
During your visit, learn about Snowflake (Floquet de Neu), a rare white gorilla that called the zoo home until its death in 2003. To celebrate the life of Snowflake, the park has set up a variety of conservation and endangered species awareness programs to help preserve these majestic creatures. They finish their tour they had one more thing to do.

"One more zoo off the bucket list." Autumn says.

"That was awesome." Taylor says.

"Yes it was the kids had fun." Anna says.

"They will sleep well tonight." Madison says.

"Yes they will." Nadia replies.

They lastly head to the docks in front of the statue of Colombus, at the end of the Ramblas.
They all board a boat. While leaving the Port they see the fishing boats, cruise ships and some of the luxury yachts of rich and famous.
Once in the open sea the crew will hoist up the sails, turn off the engines and they experience the wonderful sensation of sailing on the largest and most stable sail catamaran in Barcelona.
The trip lasts 90 minutes and on-board they enjoy a cold drink, sunbathe and listen to the sounds of live Jazz and Chill out music while they relax and look at the spectacular views of the city skyline, the beaches and the SUNSET from the sea. They were served a light dinner on board as well. They finish and arrive back at the docks. They get off and then head to their hotel. They get there and girl get the kids settled into bed. It didn't take long for them to be out.

"I think we are going to turn in." Kris and Madison both say.

"Yes us too." Sid and Nadia says.

"Yeah it was a long fun day." Justin and Autumn say.

"Yes. Beach day tomorrow before we head Madrid." Geno and Anna say.

Sounds good to us." Jake and Taylor day.

They all head into their separate rooms. Madison and Kris head into theirs. They get ready for bed and climb inside.

"I am so happy we checked another zoo off our list." Autumn says.

"'Me too baby, me too." Justin says.

"Goodnight baby." Autumn says.

"Goodnight." Justin says.

They snuggle together as they both drift off.
