The next morning Justin and Autumn woke up when the alarm went off.
"So we have two fun things planned for the day before coming back here packing, napping and then heading to Dubai." Justin says.
"Okay baby. I can't wait I have always wanted to go back to Dubai. My dad was stationed there for a little bit when I was younger and I always loved it." Taylor says.
"Yeah baby you are going to love what we got planned. Aww well I am glad we are able to go back and make it possible to go back to a place you love." Justin says.
"I am sure I will. And Yes me too." Autumn says.
They both get up and get dressed. Taylor made sure they were completely packed. They then head out to the living room. Everyone meets them there. While the girls were getting the kids up, dressed and ready the boys were preparing their last breakfast in Madrid. When it was ready they sit down and eat.
"So we have two things planned before coming back here to nap and pack." Sid says.
"Yeah and they are fun things for everyone." Jake says.
"Yeah and the kids will love both." Justin says.
"Yes will. "Geno says.
"Yes they will and so will everyone. "Kris replies.
They finish eating and clean up. They then head out to start their day. Their self-drive GoCar tour, guided by GPS, is the most fun way to explore Madrid at their own pace. The talking GPS gives directions that are clear, concise and informative, and it highlights specific locations throughout Madrid as you drive, providing a memorable experience during their time in the city. The three-wheeled GoCar has a lockable trunk for personal belongings. No experience is necessary, and they receive helmets and a briefing on how to operate the car safely before they head out from the shop. Everyone piles into a car and they head out on their tour. During the drive they see top city attractions on a route around downtown Madrid, taking in highlights like Gran Via – the vibrant street that showcases early 20th-century architecture – and Parque del Retiro, Madrid's most popular park. See Neoclassical monuments and fountains as you pass Plaza Cibeles, and admire Alcalá Gate (Puerta del Alcalá) – a perfect backdrop for iconic photos of Madrid! The girls were soaking up pictures . They stop to see monuments celebrating Sir Christopher Columbus in Plaza de Colón (Columbus Square) and head to Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas – the world-famous bullring in the heart of Madrid' Salamanca neighborhood. They also take in the sights of Madrid's Old Town on this tour of the city's historic center. Drive past Plaza de España – the lavish square in the middle of Maria Luisa Park – and pass Plaza de la Puerta del Sol, home to Plaza Mayor – an impressive monument built during the time of the Hapsburg period. Listen to commentary explaining the era, and of the Hapsburg's role in shaping Madrid to the city as it stands today – with a wealth of grandiose architecture and monuments.
Lastly they marvel at the extravagance of the Royal Palace (Palacio Real) and puzzle at the sight of Temple of Debod – an Egyptian sanctuary in the heart of the city! The city's beautiful Almudena Cathedral (or Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Almudena to give its due) is included as well as the Latina, Huertas and Santa Ana neighborhoods. When they had seen all of Madrid they head back to the where they started and got out. They then head to their car and drive to the Madrid Mountains.
"Horses!" The kids exclaim.
"Yes guys we are going to rid them." Madison says.
"Yay." The kids say.
"Yeah they are going to love it." Taylor says.
"Yes they are." Nadia replies.
"Let's go." Autumn says.
"Yeah let's go." Anna says.
They head inside and pay. They were then escorted to pick out their horses. The kids had ponies as well. Once everyone was on a horse they head out with their guide. They horseback up the mountain where they stop so they could catch the view and take pictures. They get lots of pictures. They then get a group one in front of their horses.
"Damn I am glad we did this. The view is amazing." Jake says.
"I know right." Sid says.
"So beautiful." Justin says.
"Yes it is." Geno replies.
"Very beautiful. They then head back down the mountain. When they arrive back at the stables they head out on another trail. They head to a meadow with a water fall inside it. They stop there and set up a picnic lunch consisting of a Tapas Picnic with a wide variety of local products carefully selected, drinks like Spanish sangria or wine included. Water or soda was also included.
"Damn this is amazing." Taylor says.
"A pregnant woman's dream." Autumn says.
"Pretty much. Spanish food is amazing." Anna says.
"Yes it is." Nadia replies.
"I agree. I love all food though." Madison says.
The kids enjoyed the food as well. After they ate they get back on the horses and head back to the stables. They finished their ride and head back to the car. They then head back to the hotel.
"Let's order room service for dinner so we don't have much to clean up." Sid says.
"Yeah that sounds like a good plan." Kris says.
"We can get a few things like a buffet." Jake replies.
"Sounds good." Justin says.
They order food. When it gets there they have a buffet. When they finish it didn't take much to clean it up. They play a few games with the kids before putting them down for bed. Once they were asleep they all head to their rooms. Justin head to theirs. They made sure they were all packed including the twins. They then lay down for a little nap.
A few hours later the alarm goes off.
"So it's a 8 hour flight to Dubai from here. That is why we are getting up early so we don't loose a day traveling." Justin says.
"Okay baby." Autumn says.
They get up and get dressed. Justin grabs the luggage and they head out into the living room. They get the kids into their carriers. Once everyone was ready they head to the car. They pile in and head to the air strip where the plane was waiting. They get the luggage on first and they everyone piles on. Once they were cleared they take off.
"So lets get some sleep." Justin says.
"Yes cus when we land we will be in Dubai." Sid says.
"That will be fun." Jake replies.
"Yeah we are staying there for four days." Kris says.
"Fun and sun." Geno says.
"Then we are going to Maldives for two weeks before heading back to the Burgh." Madison says.
"Now that will be fun." Autumn says.
"Yes it will." Taylor says.
"Fun and Sun like Geno said." Anna says.
"Last trip before I am not allowed to fly." Nadia says.
Anna and Taylor both nod their heads yes. They then settle the kids before heading to their rooms. Justin and Autumn head to theirs. They lay down on the bed.
"Get some sleep baby." Justin says.
"You too." Autumn says.
They snuggle together falling into a much needed sleep.
