The next morning Justin and woke up snuggled together when the alarm went off. Justin was disappointed that Noelle hadn't made her way into their bed.
"No Noelle today." Justin says pouting.
"I know but she was probably tired after yesterday and all the playing and fun she had." Autun says.
"Yeah I guess." Justin says.
"Trust me she will be back soon. Practice baby." Autumn says.
"I know she will baby and yes practice and then we are going to fly to Fort Lauderdale." Justin replies.
They both get up. Autumn quickly packs for them and for the kids. She then gets the suits he would need together. Justin comes out of the shower and gets dressed. Autumn quickly changes as well. They then head down to the game room. Everyone meets there.
"I will bring the kids to the plane later." Ruth replies.
"Okay mom." Kris says.
"Thanks Ruth." The others say.
She nods her head. They all head out to the car and pile in. They head to the practice facility and park. They get out and head inside. Justin and the boys head into the locker room. Autumn and the girls head to watch.
"So the boys have a special surprise for us when we get to Fort Lauderdale." Nadia says.
"Awesome I can't wait to see what it is." Taylor says.
"Me either. " Autumn says.
"I know and I can't wait for warm weather." Madison says.
"Did you guys all remember to pack bathing suits?" Autumn asks.
"I did." Nadia says.
"So did I." Taylor says.
"I did as well." Madison says.
"Good I did too." Autumn replies
Practice had started. Jared was on the ice in regular gear. Nick, and Rusty were in non contact.
"Where is Dumo?" The girls asks turning to Madison.
"I don't know honestly. I was never made aware he was injured. I thought maybe Kayla was in labor but I haven't heard anything or saw anything posted that she had the baby." Madison says.
"Weird." The girls all say.
They watch practice. Madison does what she needed to do. It ended and the girls go and wait for the guys. A little bit later they come out and they all head out to the bus. The guys had grabbed the luggage already. They get on and once everyone was on they head to the plane. As promise Ruth met them there with the kids. They all board and as soon as they were cleared they take off. They all snooze on the plane ride.
A few hours later they land in sunny Fort Lauderdale. They grab the luggage and the kids and get off plane and head to the bus. A few minutes later they arrive at the hotel they were staying at. They check in and the gang heads to their place. Instead of a penthouse they were staying in a condo right on the beach.
"Oh wow." The girls all say as they walk around.
Justin and Autumn go and claim their room putting their luggage down. Autumn hangs up Justin's suits. They had a balcony that overlooked the beach it was amazing.
"Thank you baby. " Autumn says.
"Welcome baby. I know you like to be near the water." Justin says.
"Even though its only for tonight." Autumn says.
"I know. But tomorrow night we are staying near the water too. Then we are doing Disney." Justin says.
"I know I am happy cus its the twins first time at Disney and for Halloween. I am glad that Sully gave us all special permission to miss practice. I am also glad that the team isn't flying out until Friday morning." Autumn replies.
" I know and I am happy too. And the best part is the kids don't know about it." Justin says.
"Nope." Autumn says.
"Did you pack the Halloween costumes?" Justin asks.
"Yes I did. Everyone did cus we are dressed up as Disney characters and we thought that was neat.
They head out to the living room. They help build a fort for the kids.
"So what do you want to do for dinner?" Sid asks.
"Check the fridge." Jake says.
"Wow." Justin says opening it.
There was food in there for them to grill dinner out on the beach.
"Let's go grill on the beach." Kris says.
They all go and change into their bathing suits. Madison and the girls get the kids dressed into theirs. They then make side stuff to have while the guys grill burgers and hot dogs. They had also set up a table for them and a spot down on the beach by the water. They sit down and eat.
"This was a nice surprise." Taylor says.
"Yes it was. Just what we needed a relaxing day at the beach in between the chaos that is Hockey Season." Autumn says.
"I agree. It is amazing." Nadia says.
"Yes I am happy." Madison says.
"We are glad. We know how much you all love the water." Sid says.
"We are happy we were able to do it." Justin says.
"Yes we were." Jake replies.
"And able to get the food too." Kris says.
They finish eating, having devoured everything. They then clean up. After that they head down to the beach and all get into the water with the kids. They splash and play and just enjoy spending time with the kids and each other. A few hours later they head back to the condo. The girls get the kids bathed and changed into their pj's and tucked into their fort with a movie. Justin and Autumn then head to their room. Autumn gets everything ready for tomorrow. They then shower and climb into bed.
"Thanks again for my surprise" Autumn says.
"Welcome baby." Justin says.
Justin and Autumn get comfortable. One kiss lead to another and then another until they end up making love a few times before snuggling together.
"Get some sleep baby. Tomorrow is going to be a long day." Justin says.
"Hell the next few days are going be long days." Autumn says.
"Exactly." Justin says.
"You get some rest too. You have back to back games you have to play in." Autumn says.
"I know baby, but I have this wonder wife who always takes care of me." Justin says.
"Aww baby. I love you and will always take care you. " Autumn replies.
They snuggle together falling into a much needed sleep.
