The next morning Justin and Autumn woke up when the alarm went off.
"Remember after practice Micah and Olivia have a game." Autumn says.
"I know I love watching the little ones play. " Justin says.
"Me too." Autumn replies.
Autumn packed bags just in case. They then get up and get dressed. They head downstairs meeting everyone in the game room. Micah and Olivia were up and ready as well.
"Our parents are bringing the rest of the kids later for the Little Penguins game." Sid says.
"Sounds like a plan. Let the kids sleep a little bit." Nadia says.
"Yeah we will do school work when we get home from the game." Madison says.
"That sounds like a good plan." Kris says.
"We should know if have to go to Columbus tonight." Justin says.
"Yeah its back to backs. If you guys don't play in the Columbus game then definitely in the Detroit game." Autumn says.
"Yes." Anna says.
"That is probably true. " Geno says.
"Yeah so we will need to know if we have to pack. "Taylor says.
"If we don't play tomorrow we will have practice here in the morning. Then we will have to fly to Detroit cus we will play Sunday." Jake says.
They head out to the car with Micah and Olivia. They pile in and head to the practice facility. They arrive park and head inside. Kris and the boys head to the locker room. Micah and Olivia go and meet up with the team and go get ready. Madison and the girls head to the benches sitting down to watch. A little bit later practice starts.
"Well they announced the line up for tomorrow's game. The only person playing from the gang is Erik." Madison says.
"Yeah they are leaving after practice. We will have to fly to Detroit after practice Sunday if any of the guys are playing." Nadia says.
"I hope some of them do if not them all." Autumn says.
"Me too." Anna says.
"Yeah cus we need to celebrate the birthday queen." Taylor says.
"OH yeah tomorrow is your birthday and Krissy, Sidney, Cole and Madison's second birthday. Hard to believe they will be one!" Nadia says.
"I know right." Taylor says.
"Its amazing I love them so much. My nieces and nephews." Madison says.
"Yes they are amazing. All the kids are." Anna says.
"That is true." Autumn says.
Practice starts and the girls watch. Two hours later it ends. The girls head over to the second rink to get seats to watch Micah and Olivia's game.
Practice ends and the boys shower and change.
"Well looks like we don't have to go to Columbus." Sid says.
"Nope which is good. Girls can relax." Jake says.
"Yes can celebrate Anna birthday at home." Geno says.
"True." Justin says.
"That will be fun." Kris replies.
They finish up and head to find the girls and watch Micah and Olivia's game. They stop and grab food and take it to the girls. They eat and finish just as the game was about to start.
"Man Olivia looks amazing." Sid Says.
"Well she did learn from the best. Not to toot my own horn or anything." Taylor says.
"Damn what a save." Justin replies.
"Sign her up for the Pens." Jake says.
"Sorry Murray and Desmith but I think you might have just lost your jobs." Nadia says.
"Pretty much." Autumn says.
That was when Micah scored a goal.
"Damn what a snipe." Anna says.
"Like father." Geno says.
"Yes he plays offensive Defense like His daddy." Madison says.
"He is amazing." Kris replies.
"Yes he is. "Autumn says.
The first period winds down and ends with the Little Pens leading 1-0. After a brief intermission the second starts. Right away Micah sets up a perfect shot for his teammate and they score.
"Goal and Assist." Madison says.
"Now all he needs is to get in a fight and he will have the Gordy Howe Hat trick." Nadia says.
"If he is anything like his papa don't count it out." Anna says.
"Nope." Taylor replies.
"Uh oh he is mad. " Autumn says.
That was when all hell broke loose and Micah took down a member of the opposing team. He literally knocked him down and got in all the punches. He ended up in the sin bin.
"Yup like father." Geno says.
"Definitely got his temper." Justin says.
"Well he fights for his brothers." Jake says.
"Yes and even captains fight when needed." Kris says.
"Yes and that was definitely needed." Sid says.
The little Pens end up scorning a short handed goal and killing off the penalty. The second period ended with the little pens being up 3-0. The boys go and grab more food during the second intermission. They bring it back and they eat. The third period started and no matter how hard the other team tried they just couldn't get the puck past Olivia. The little penguins won 3-0.
"Damn a second shut out for Olivia." Taylor says.
"She looked amazing out there. Micah did too." Nadia says.
"I know they both looked phenomenal." Madison says.
"I agree." Autumn says.
"We should treat them to dinner." Anna says.
They all agree. They head to wait for Micah and Olivia. A little bit later they come out holding hands.
"Nice win guys." Jake says.
"Yes it was where do you want to go for dinner?" Justin asks.
"Olive Garden." Micah says.
"yes please." Olivia says.
"Olive Garden it is." Kris says.
"Our treat." Sid says.
"Yes." Geno replies.
They head out to the car. They all head to Olive Garden for an early dinner. They let the kids get anything they want. When they finished eating they head back to Madison and Kris's. They head to do school work with the kids. When that was done they played with them a little bit before tucking them into bed in their fort. They decided to call it a night. Justin and Autumn head up to their room.
"So we are having a family and close friends party here for Anna tomorrow. Watching the game." Autumn says.
"Sounds good. Maybe we can grill out." Justin says.
"Oh no Geno is having it catered." Autumn says.
"Oh that is awesome no one has to cook.." Justin says.
"Exactly. The room is decorated and ready and Kris's mom made the cake.." Autumn says.
"Good." Justin says.
They both snuggle together falling asleep.
