Chapter 523: Blizzard Warnings

Not long after they fell asleep Justin Autumn  woke up when their phones went off.   It was making a loud noise.

"God get them before it wakes Noelle, JJ and Holly." Autumn says.

"I got them." Justin says shutting the noise off.

"Thank you.  Now what the hell is going on? "Autumn asks.

"Blizzard warning in in effect for the next two days." Justin says reading the warning on his phone.

"Wow who would have ever thought we would be experiencing a blizzard in August." Autumn says.

"Welcome to life in the mountains baby." Justin says kissing her head.

"Well we should go and make sure we have blankets and stuff like that in case the power goes out." Autumn says.

"Yeah but the cabin has a power generator but if that happens we should all sleep in one room." Justin replies.

"Agreed.   I am so glad you guys were smart enough and stopped on the way home from training and got more groceries." Autumn says.

"Yes, I am too.   When it was snowing, we figured we would stop just to make sure.   So we have everything that we could ever need.    Enough food to last us at least a week. "Justin says.

"Okay baby.   Should we go see if the others are awake?" Autumn asks.

"Yeah just to make sure they know about it.  Plus we can lay out a game plan." Justin says.

"Yes that is a good idea baby. "Autumn replies.

They get up and head out to the living room.   Everyone met there.

"So I see everyone got the alert on their phone. "Sid says.

"Yes Blizzard warning in effect for the next two days. "Jake says.

"We need to all make sure our cell phones are charged and we need to gather blankets and flashlights." Justin says.

"Yes have backup generator but need prepare. "Geno says.

"Exactly.  Make sure we have everything ready in case we lose power." Kris replies.

"Why don't we just sleep in the game room where the kids have their fort.   I saw some cots in the spare bedroom no one is using." Nadia says.

"Sounds like a good plan.  We can save firewood and just use it for the fireplace in there." " Autumn says.

"Oh that is a good idea.   And we can use it to cook too in case the power does go out. "Anna says.

"Okay lets go gather the stuff so we can grab the kids and get everyone settled so we can go back to bed." Taylor says.

"Sounds like a good plan." Madison replies.

Kris, Sid and Jake head off to get the cots for the game room for the adults.   Justin and Geno put together a mini fort kinda for the adults separating them from the kids area.   Madison, Nadia and Taylor gather up blankets, pillows and warm clothing that they would need.   Anna and Autumn gather up flashlights and other things like that they would need.    A few minutes later they all meet back in the game room.   

"Everything is gathered that we will need." Madison says.

"Well lets set up the cots and then get Esme, Patrick, Noelle, Holly and JJ and bring them in here." Kris says.

"Sounds like a plan then we can get some sleep." Sid says.

"Yes cus we will have a long day with the kids." Jake says.
