Kanin's Pov

I woke up to a scream and a crash almost like glass breaking. I met Robin at Lisa's door and we both opened the door. Lisa wasn't there at all. A note was there on her bed. It was from Doctor Nightmare. Robin decided to read it aloud.

He recited, "Hello again little kitty. Are you looking for your sister? I bet you are. She's with me, and I intend to make her sing just like you did. Robin I understand you have affection towards this girl. If you both come unarmed and if Kanin surrenders part of his blood to us, we'll let her go. If these demands are not met then say goodbye to your little kitten. Oh and come alone just as you practiced years ago Kanin and Robin. See you soon my little bird and kitty. Signed Doctor Nightmare."

"So what now? How are we gonna get Lisa back without getting captured ourselves?", he said.

"Robin for once in my life I don't know. I've always known what to do and what to say, but now I don't. I lost her again and I didn't intend to lose her this time.", I said.

He smirked and replied, "I'm gonna call up my cousin Sally. She'll come and help us. Don't worry about it, we'll get her back."

"Oh god I hope so. Or else she's doomed.", I replies gravely.

'Why? Why can't I protect my family?!', I thought.
