Chapter two:Who are the Teen Titans anyway

Chapter 2

Lisa pov

We were going on walk and a noise came from behind us. It was almost like laughing. I saw someone in a suit with a division symbol on it. I wasn't shocked when he divided into more of himself.

"River who is that?", I asked River with caution.

River replied,"Oh boy again with billy numerous. Well he's billy numerous and he's a villain. Shall we stop him?"

I nodded. My cat ears and tail was out now. I through five Billy numerous across the lot without having to touch him. Telekinesis rocks! River through rocks, and fire balls at him. Right as I was about to scratch billy numerous who would have guessed a boy jumps in front of me. I almost scratch him, he yelled something like 'Titans go!' which I didn't know what he meant. He looked like an average boy, except he was wearing green spandeck pants, a black shirt, with a red vest with a capital 'r' on it, his hair was spiked back black hair, and to top it all off a mask that only covered his eyes. There was also a cyborg, a green, another boy like the other one, a girl with a purple coat, and a girl with green eyes. There was also a girl with blonde hair with the power to move the earth.

He said,"Get out of here. You shouldn't be here miss...." He stopped dead in his track when he saw me.

"Yes I should be here. Now if you'll excuse me I need to deal with him. So please move out of my way!!"

I leaped over the top of him with cat like grace, you could say I was a little furious with him. But when the team just started to fight, River and I had just ended the fight. They just looked at us like we were popstars. I couldn't take the pressure so I did what I had to. I ran away.

River pov

When the Teen Titans were looking at us like popstars I was so excited. But when I saw Lisa tense and her ears droop I knew instantly what she was going to do. She ran off before I could explain to her what was going on. And who these guys were. Robin, worried of course, ran after her. So did this new guy on the team I didn't know. I didn't care she was my one and only friend, so I ran after her too. The team followed. I was slightly slower than Robin. I did what I could to slow him down. I failed. Lisa fell off a bridge into the river in the woods. I got her ashore. The team surrounded the tree she was in because just as I got her out of the water she climbed the nearest tree.

I barked at them,"No one! And I mean no one goes another step towards that tree! Just let me talk her down some and then you can ask her any question you want."

Robin retaliated,"Why should we let, You talk her down."

I replied,"Cause I'm her friend. And she trusts me not to turn her in to the Freak Capture and Imprisonment Program! She has TRUST ISSUES OK!"

They didn't take another step. I climbed the tree so we could talk in private instead of having Robin and the others hear our conversation.

"Hey Lisa, how's it going? You're crying are you ok?" I said in a calm, soothing voice.

She answered,"Do I look ok? I'm drenched, terrified of water and those people down there, and above all I'm just plain upset because He saw me at my worst." She pointed to Robin.

"You mean Robin, he's use to it. I mean do you think he even wanted to form the Teen Titans at first? He didn't. So please come down and talk to them."

She sniffled and said,"Only on one condition then have to wear these hoods with us. To symbolize I can kind of trust them and they won't turn me in to the FCP."

I climbed down,"Ok she has one condition everyone here has to wear this hood it has foam cat ears in it. She took out hers because she already has them. Anyway everyone here has to wear it or else she won't come down. Here."

Raven took the purple pair, Starfire took the pink pair, Cyborg took the blue pair, I took the green pair, BeastBoy took the teal pair, the new guy, which I was informed by Cy that it was Andrew, took the yellow pair. But Robin wouldn't take the last pair.

Robin's pov

The girl tried to hand me the red cat eared hood. I shook my head.

I said,"I'm not putting that thing on. I refuse to wear it."

The cat girl said,"If one won't wear it I'm not coming down. I'm wearing one too. See so it would be fair and you understand how I feel. So please wear the hood."

"I will not wear that ridiculous hood. It's not my fault you ran away."

She yelled,"I did because I was scared of you guys. I don't know who you are, or if I can trust you!"

Starfire added,"It would be the most good if you were to join us in the wearing of the hoods. On my planet, it shows loyalty and friendship if you join in the fun. Robin, please join us in the wearing of the kitty hoods."

She half laughed,"So your name's Robin huh. Cool my name is Lisa Halliwell and that's River Jackson. So I ask again for you to please wear the hood. I will be forever grateful to you."

I sighed,"Fine I'll wear the dumb thing. But only cause the team wants me to." I snatched the hood out of River's hand. I put it on, I looked ridiculous.

Lisa's pov

I came down when all of them were wearing the hoods. They all looked very cute in them. Including Robin which was blushing and crossing his arms cause he didn't like the hood. The cyborg like person was happily wearing it and the girl in the coat seemed to like it too.

I began,"When I was little I had to wear a hood just like the ones we are all wearing to protect my identity from the FCP. They're a really bad group that captures rare or odd creatures as they call us to test medicine and imprison us away forever. With this hood I could hide from them. I always wore a skirt to hide my tail. I feel like I have put a little bit of my trust in you. By the way, I would really like to know the rest of your names. I mean if it's not too much trouble."

Robin said,"Yes it is."

"I'm Cyborg but you can call me Cy. This is Raven she's from a different parallel world. This is my man BeastBoy he's just born that way. That girl with the tan is Starfire she's from another planet. And the blonde one is..." She cut the cyborg guy off.

"I'm Terra, and that boy who's balancing all four elements is Andrew."

"It's nice to meet all of you if you want to take the hoods off it's fine. I'll just hide behind the tree and talk to you guys from there. I already know Robin is dying to take it off. So you can all just take them off." I said.

Cyborg said,"No way, this thing is so comfortable. And I just plain like it. Boo-ya."

BeastBoy agreed and didn't take it off, neither did River or Andrew which were talking to each other which I think she likes him.

Starfire ran over and hugged me,"Not a chance new friend. I like wearing the kitty hood. It is most enjoyable. But I see Robin and Raven are the only ones who did not continue the wearing of the hoods."

I said half gasping,"It's really ok Starfire. You can take it off. I don't want you guys to get embarrassed because of me." She let go and shook her head, Terra even kept it on. I gave Robin an apologetic look but he ignored me. This is going to be a long night. But my head started to hurt and it was excruciatingly painful. I passed out while my head was throbbing.

River's pov

She passed out again but I couldn't catch her. Cyborg thankfully caught her, and he invited me and Lisa to Titans tower. So awesome. Except I was worried about Lisa, I stayed by her side the entire night and day for two weeks straight. Cyborg and Andrew said she was in a coma because of something in her hood caused her head to throb. I hope she's aright. I passed out at the foot of the medical bed.
