Chapter 17: My brother's ALIVE!?

Lisa's pov

River asked me,"So what does that have to do with anything?"

I said,"The location of this place, we're in my home town, near a wood mill. The street is 78th silver. If we can get to the control panel over there we can tell Robin and the others where we are."

Someone laughed. "That would be a great idea, except you're tied to a chair. How that would work?"

I said,"One who are you? Two, I know this. And three, I have the power of telekinesis."

The person said,"Well look at that the cat talks, and how shy. I don't even believe it you actually forgot my voice. I'm very disappointed at you little sister." Wait I knew this voice, but I don't know where from. Slade told me he had a big surprise for me once last night while I was thinking about where we are. This persons voice seems so familiar.

I asked,"Why did you call me sister? My brother died at the age of nine, while I was five."

Slade walked in as the person was about to answer me. I growled at him. So did the person in the dark corner. It was weird. Slade turned on the light in the corner. To reveal what he looks like. He had black ruffled hair, his eyes were quite weird one was yellow and the other was red, he wore a long black leather jacket, jeans, a dark blue shirt and dress shoes. It was exactly what my brother looked like before he died. Except there was one more thing I noticed that seemed obvious, he had black cat eyes and a fluffy black tail. I knew it was him, but I had to be certain.

"Kanin. Is t-that you?", I asked uncomfortably. He nodded.

"Yeah it's me. Now you know I'm not dead and it's nice to see you again. You've grown up so beautiful. I haven't seen you in years.", he said. After he said that I started to cry. I mean like full out crying with the noise and the tears. Slade let him out of the chair to comfort me. Kanin ran to me and untied me and River. He held me so tight, I just cried even more. I thought, I can't believe he's alive, but here he is. Big brother I missed you so.

"Ni-ni! Ni-ni! Ni-ni!", I said over and over again. He just held me and stroked my hair like he always use to. He held me, but I hugged back harder.

He said,"Shh, it's alright. I'm right here and I'm never letting you out of my sight ever again. I promise you this.", he whispered now, "I promise I will get all three of us out of here. I missed you so much little sister." He held me and I cried till I started to feel sleepy. I then fell asleep.

Kanin pov

I hugged her trying to calm her down. A little after I said I missed her, she fell asleep.

I said, "She fell asleep. Wow, what an unfortunate sister I have."

The girl next to me said,"What do you mean by that?" She had black hair with one eye sea green and the other ocean blue.

I replied,"Oh our family have been very unfortunate since me and Lisa were born. I'm a black cat, very unlucky. My bad luck kind of went to her and it's been moving back and forth between us. That's how we are unfortunate." She gave me the oh now I get it look. I smiled back picking up Lisa and holding her close to me. I thought, I am never letting you go ever again. I love you, my Lisa. Have a good sleep. I don't know her friend so when I knew Slade isn't in the room and everyone else. I sit down and let my sister lay there. The girl from earlier sat down next to me.

She smile and asked,"So, what's your name? Cause I'm not gonna call you big brother or ni-ni, so what is it?"

I said,"Kanin. My name is Kanin. You can call me that."

"Good. My name is River, I'm Lisa's first friend since leaving this place.", she said. I smiled, and nodded. I look at the clock, and it reads 12:00 am.

I said,"River, why don't you get some sleep? I'll be right over in that corner if you need me." I get up and started to walk over. She bolted up and grabbed my wrist.

She exclaimed, "You have to stay with Lisa! You just have to! She'll freak out if you leave her! So please just stay with your little sister." I nodded and understood how she felt. I sat back down and Lisa curled up in my lap like she always did when we were little. I decided to fall asleep. I fell into the deepest corner of my mind, and fell asleep.
