Lisa's pov
We get to where Cy and the others were. The high five were beating them to a plup. At least we got there just in time to save them and fight by their side. I tossed the gadget guy off Cy and the girl named jinx across the lot. I clawed at the big guy while kicking him in the gut. Andrew gave me a lift and I did a flip and kicked the big guy in the face. They ran for the hills, I accidentally let out a hiss.
Cy said,"Wow, looks like you are kind of a cat. You best contain that anger before Robin finds out you can hiss. Oh and nice job. I can't believe you guys kissed."
I blushed, and exclaimed,"It....... It's not like that between Robin and me. He kissed me not the other way around. Jeez, Cy don't look at me like that."
Cy looked at me with a smile. "Ok, what ever you say Lisa. Let's just get home before Slade comes."
I was so confused then this guy came he had a mask except it was a full face mask. I heard Andrew curse in Latin, which only River did. Cy mouthed the name Slade. I guess this guy was who he was talking about. The others surrounded me, Andrew bended a mixture of dirt and water, then bended fire to evaporate it. It created a smog so we could escape. Cy carried me in his arms, to the tcar. He placed me inside the others got in. We drove as fast as the tcar could go. Apparently Robin was looking for me, and River for Andrew. River chewed him out in Latin while hugging him. She was so weird. I just walked past Robin and said I didn't want to talk about it.
"Robin I don't wanna talk about it. By the way, who in the world is Slade but you can tell me tomorrow. I'm going to bed, night.", I said. I avoided eye contact with him but I could feel his cold gaze on me. It wasn't a furious kind of gaze. The gaze was a worried one. I just went straight for my room, I got into some pjs. I crawled into bed, I lied there for a while. I thought, 'Robin do you hate me now? What are you thinking right now? What's on your mind? I guess I'll find out soon. I don't want to though. Why am I such an idiot, I always get close to people? I guess it's in the genes.' I thought back to my mother and remembered she got close to people when she shouldn't have too. I fell asleep, and had the most terrible nightmares.
Nightmare
I was in a room. It was so dark, all I thought was I need to get out and eat. I was in restraints, I tugged at them until I felt blood come from my wrists. A voice came from the dark. I hissed at it.
It said,"Oh come now, why are you hissing at me? I need you to lure the teen titans here, maybe you'll be let go if you join me."
I hissed,"I'll never join you......you crazy psychopath. You'll have to kill me first before I do that. So NO I'LL NEVER EVER DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
It came in the light I recognized the face from the fight. It was Slade, he turned something. Pain shot all of my senses, all I could feel was pain. I screamed so loud it was deafening. He just laughed and turned the intensity up. I screamed louder until my throat hurt to scream anymore. He turned it off, and I cursed at him in Latin. He slapped me.
Slade said,"All you have to do is join me and the pain will end. So I'll ask you again, join me?"
"I will never join the likes of you and you're too late I can't become anyone else's familiar. You'll have to kill me or the person I'm a familiar too.", I spat.
He turned it back on. Everything around me faded
Rivers pov
I came into her room. I shook her, she woke up screaming. She saw me, she hugged me and cried. I noticed while she was crying her voice was raspy from screaming so much. I gave her some tea when she was done crying. Cy stopped by to find out what was going on. I told him I had it all under control. He left, and he told me that breakfast would be done in a few minutes. I nodded. Lisa drank her tea, and set it down on the nightstand.
I asked her," What happened? Are you ok? Lis tell me."
She said,"To be truthful no I'm not ok. I had a nightmare and Slade was in it, he had me in restraints and was asking me to join him. And I can't because, I just can't betray you guys. Did you know neko girls are also familiars to the people that kiss them with pure emotion?"
I was so confused, she kissed me. A voice said, 'And with this kiss the contract shall be sealed. To forever be a familiar to River Jackson. Lisa do you accept the responsibility of being River's familiar.' She stopped kissing me and said,"Yes I accept the responsibility. I, Lisa Halliwell, will forever be your familiar. You say an order I must obey it."
I yelled,"What in the world was that? That was weirder than the animus volenm dom."
She said,"I'm so sorry River I had to do it. Because if my dream does come to pass then Slade would make me his familiar. I'm so very sorry."
I replied,"It's ok, but it's only 2 in the morning, so let's go back to bed. I'll stay here tonight. Good night, Lisa."
She gave me her bed and said good night, I gave her a look. She said she'd explain it to me in the morning. I dosed off.
