"oH MY GOD, JENO AIN'T A KISS VIRGIN NO MORE!"
"donghyuck, can you not scream and let the whole country know that? i honestly wonder what the higher ups were thinking when they put you on this case with me." jeno buried his face deep into his hands to avoid the stares everyone in the precinct were giving him. "besides, he didn't even kiss me kiss me."
"a kiss is still a kiss~" donghyuck singsonged.
"did i hear that my boy jeno got his first kiss? well, it's about fucking time!" johnny somehow appeared out of no where (i'm telling you, he inhales romance) and rushed towards the two rookies.
"right? it's about fucking time you get that di--" jeno jerked up from his embarrassed state to cover donghyuck's mouth before he finished his sentence.
"this is a work environment hyuck, not a freaking club." he hissed but removed his hand shortly after and scrunched his face up in disgust when donghyuck licked it.
"ew, your hand tastes like panicked gay."
upon hearing that, johnny bursted out in a fit of laughter while jeno stared at both of them in disappointment, "why are you two like this?"
"the more fitting question is when are you and cute bartender dude going to be official?" johnny asked, wiggling his brows suggestively.
"w-we're just f-friends!" jeno argued, face visibly red.
"right, 'friends'." donghyuck put up air quotations and rolled his eyes, "hey, when you have the time, introduce me to your boyfriend alright?"
"he's not my boyfriend."
"yeah, and johnny isn't a beanstalk that's dating a literal midget demon. now let's get back on the case before taeyong whoops all of our asses to antarctica."
the trio set off to johnny's desk to look over recent and old autopsy reports. with johnny sitting down and the other two standing beside him, they analyzed the first report. the one that started it all nine years ago, a man in his late thirties found in an alleyway with his throat messily slit.
"ugh, i don't understand how you look at these things without wanting to throw up." the youngest turned his head away from the graphic photo and proceeded to gag.
"you went to school to study about this field and to eventually work in it. dead bodies are a normal sight, so you better get used to it." the eldest reminded.
