A week has gone by and I found myself in Magnus' office, complaining.

"Ok, so as I was saying. Your cold, emotionless butler is so strict," I said with matching hand gesture. I cannot believe I lasted a week before deciding to complain. "He doesn't want me to touch the frying pan. He just wanted me to give him oil or knife, or seasonings. I mean why?! I'm a woman myself, and I'm sure as fuck that I can handle even just frying an egg. I don't get him," pagsusumbong ko at nakatitig lang sa'kin si Magnus. Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata.

"Say something, hello? Baka naman pwedeng--"

"I didn't know you'll look so beautiful when complaining." I looked at him nonchalantly.

I've been here for about a week now. Araw-araw, gabi siya dumadating from work, then later ask me if I eat or did something happen or did I get injured from working. At first I thought gan'yan siya saming dalawa ni Rein because dalawa lang naman kaming servant niya, but he wasn't like that with Rein. They were more casual with each other. It's not weird, I think that's how you're supposed to be with your boss, but I just thought we had something different, since we met somewhere else and he just, out of nowhere, decided to help me, so I was patient with his asking.

"Thank you for saying that, but that's not really the point—" before I could say something more. He cut me off.

"I'll talk to him about it."

"That's--" I was going to express my gratitude when his half assed butler came.

"Nope, you'll never have a work on your own. You'll be assisting me, always." I rolled my eyes with the cold voice behind me. At dahil nakaharap ako kay Magnus, pinaikot ko ang swivel chair na inuupuan ko para lingunin si Rein.

"I hate you," I said as I frown.

"Thank you," he replied nonchalantly, kaya naman mas lalong nalukot ang mukha ko.

"See? Do you see how he treats me? I just came here to work. Ayoko ko namang sumweldo ng gano'n kalaki at tumira rito na taga abot lang ng powder na sabon, taga abot ng luya, sibuyas at kung ano-ano pa."

Maya maya ay umupo rin si Rein sa katabi kong swivel chair.

Now this feel like we're on a court and we're ready to come to each other's throat.

"My lord, let me explain." Tumingin si Magnus kay Rein at tinanguan ito.

Pananingkitan ko siya ng mata no'ng saglit niya akong lingunin. I cannot believe this.

"She's a malnourished girl. It'll be sad if she'll breaks a bone washing dishes." With that, malakas na tumawa si Magnus at ako naman nakanganga.

Tumingin ako sa katawan ko. Oo payat ako but in a healthy way, I think. I get that a lot though. People commenting on my weight but I don't really take it as insult. Many would say it's body shaming but he's not really shaming me. He sound nonchalant saying that but I know that he don't mean it in a way that he's shaming me.

"Hoy, this body is what you call sexy," dipensa ko. He looked at me at tinabingi ang ulo niya, like a dog checking you out.

"You don't look voluptuous in my eyes. You look like you don't even have a fat." My mouth formed a big O. The nerve! I can't believe this guy.

"How dare you," inis kong sabi. I heard Magnus' laughter echoed in his office.

"Well, for your information my wieght is--- uhm---" Shocks di ko maalala.

"Never mind, you won't change my mind." Tumayo siya at yumukod sa harap ni Magnus at nagtungo sa pinto. "Hurry up you'll assist me in cooking dinner." And with that tuluyan na siyang lumabas ng pinto.
