"Sun matagal pa ba sila Magnus?" tanong ko habang naglalapag ng plato sa mesa. They might not be able to make it to lunch but I stilll prepared plates for them.

They aren't here yet and I don't want to call Magnus. He might be doing something and I might just cause him distraction. I asked Sun what time they'd come home but he just don't know.

But I could tell, he's been occupied, too. From time to time, he'd sigh.

"Are you ok?" tanong ko.

He just nods and started eating.

I wanted to join him but I can't. I'm still full.

"You ok with eating alone?" I ask.

Tumango lamang siya.

I didn't talk more. I feel like he needs silence. I exited the kitchen and went to the stairs. halfway through the stairs someone called me. "Sunshine."

I look behind me, down to the main door where Magnus is standing.

"Magnus!" Mabilis akong bumaba ng hagdan. Nang makalapit ako sa kan'ya, agad ko siyag yinakap.

"Saan ka ba--" Hindi ko na natuloy ang sasabihin ko nang maramdaman ko kung gaano kahigpit ang yakap niya sa akin.

I glance at Rein and Jax. They both looked away at sabay na pumasok sa kusina, leaving us both.

"What's wrong honey?" tanong ko. Kumalas ako sa pagkakayakap niya at held his face. He met my gaze and I knew, something happened.

I smiled softly and gave him a kiss.

"Come on. Talk to me," I tell him. He hesitated at first. "It's fine," I assured him.

I pulled him up to the stares and we went to his room. We sat on the bed and hold his hands, rubbing my thumb on his palm.

"It's about Sarah's case," he says. He sounded so defeated.

I took a deep breathe and let him talk. I assured him I'm fine with hearing whatever it is.

He told me about everything that happened this morning and I'm honestly so confuse now. I don't know what to think. Everything seems to be going the wrong way, too. It's going right back at Sarah's father.

"What are you gonna do about it?" I asked him and he just stared at the floor, defeated, so I pulled him into a hug.

"You should rest. Think about it when you get rest," I tell him.

"I can't show them that I'm weak. Or else my enemy will take advantage. I need to be strong for revenge. I need to stand strong but fuck this. I feel like I can't do this anymore but if I can't then who will do it? Sarah can't come here and do it herself," he whispered with bitterness.

I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must've been for him to really hold onto her death for this long. I can't blame him for wanting a break from it but guilt isn't really as nice now, is it?

I told him to lie down on the bed. "Sleep, you need it," I tell him.

"Paggising ko you're still here right?" he asked. he sounded like a child scared to be left alone in his room.

"You won't leave me, right?" tumango ako assuring him I really won't.

"I will figure everything out, I promise. I'll fix this," he tells me, desperation in his voice.

I smiled softly. "You need rest, honey."

He nods his head and held my hands tightly. He closed his eyes and after a minute, he's already sleeping. He must be really tired.
