Tahimik kong sinusuklay ang buhok ni Magnus gamit ang mga daliri ko habang nakahiga siya sa hita ko. He looks really tired.

"He looks tired," Rein pointed out as he enter the room, his eyes glued to Magnus.

He cried so much. I've never seen him cry like that and it scared me. it scared me to the point that I wanted to cry but I want him to have this moment for his pain, so I stopped myself from crying.

"I'll leave him to you then," Rein says and put a coffee on the nightstand. I asked him that for Magnus but he ended up sleeping on my lap.

He stepped outside and closed the door. I could feel Rein's worry. He might not show it but I know he worries for his friend, too.

I asked Rein what happened when I saw him coming out of Mangus' office. He didn't look much like it but I know his disappointed about something and at the same time concerned.

He told me everything that they uncover but I know he left some details untold.

Paine's brother was one of the two people who knew Sarah's killer. And they killed him.

It bothered me that they killed him, it really does but my worry goes stronger for Magnus. All this time, they had important witness within their reach and they kill that witness.

I heard things dropping on the floor so I step closer to the door. I was just going to call him so we can go to bed. The moment I opened the door, he stare at me. I saw broken glasses on the floor, too.

The moment he called out my name, he started crying.

It's the first time I saw him letting out how heavy it is for him to be stock in this kind of situation. For the first time, I could deeply understand how hard it must've been for him to hold on to this kind of set up for a long time.

For the first time, I wondered, can't he just let it go? can't he just make peace with Sarah's death and let go?

But I knew better than telling him that.

He knows himself well, whatever he does, I'll be here to watch and try to help in the way that I can.

Kinabukasan, nagising akong wala si Magnus sa tabi ko.

The moment I noticed, I got up and went downstairs but I only found Sun in the living room watching tv.

"Where is Magnus?" I ask.

He looks at me then back to the television. "They wen't out, they left me to guard you," he says bitterly. He was probably forced to stay.

I knew Sun won't tell me if I ask him where they went. That's like asking for a key to the door with golds that he owns.

I took a deep breathe to clam myself. What if he went out to do something reckless? Considering his state last night, I don't think he should be out there.

Sun notice I looked worried. "He's not about to do anything reckless," Sun assured me.

Hindi ako sumagot at tumango lamang.

Magnus

"You're really gonna do it?" Rein. I didn't answer. Tahimik akong nakatingin sa bintana after readying my gun.

Kasalukuyan akong nakasakay sa kotse patungong lunga ng hayop na hapon.
