I woke up with a smile on my face as I walk down the stair. I just want to start the day with a smile to keep my mood on the very bright side.

Pagbaba ko I look to the living room and I see Jax, Magnus, and Rein standing in front of a man. The back of the man's head doesn't look familiar at all kaya nagtungo ako ro'n para tignan kung sino ang maagang bisita nila.

Paglapit ko, I couldn't tell if I wanted to smile or wince at the sight of him.

"Hi," Paine greeted while he sits on the couch with a coffee on his hands.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" inis na sabi ni Sun na mukhang kagigising lang at nasa bandang likoran ko.

"I'm here to clear something," Paine said as he sip from his coffee. Sandali siyang lumingon kay Magnus. I notice how at ease he is. It's as if I'm meeting a new version of Paine. Gone the very violent and angry, bitter guy. He's just chill now.

Kumunot ang noo ko. Last time I check, Paine wanted him dead so bad.

"Is this about your brother's case?" Magnus ask, breathing in. "If you're here ----"

"I'm here cause I have the answer about Sarah's death," he says.

I'm instantly invested and I know all of us are. It didn't even sink that this might be a prank anymore. We're just looking at him.

"Fuck off," biglang sabi ni Jax. "Last time you were here, you wanted to kill my boss, and I could definitely feel that if someone gave you power to erase the world, you'd do it just to get rid of him."

I totally agree with Jax.

He winces. "Not anymore," he says.

What the heck is happening?

"Then state anything you know about Sarah's death," Rein demanded.

Lumapit ako kay Magnus. I held his arms gently."Hey," I whisper. He didn't even bother to look at me. Patuloy niya lang tinititigan si Paine and Paine was staring back.

"Don't tell me you came here to have staring competition with Magnus," inis na sabi ni Sun. he's really not in the mood to be seeing Paine right now.

Paine sighed and was about to speak when someone entered the living room.

"Long time no see, Magnus."

Lahat kami napatingin sa pinanggalingan ng boses.

"What the freak," Jax exclaimed.

"You're alive?" Magnus says, surprise.

Who's he?

It's a tall guy, probably older than Paine. His hair is long, like pass shoulder length long, his face seems so exhausted while his hands are placed on his pocket. He smiles. "Yeah, I am."

"Oh, great, look, it's Clover, Paine's brother who you guys killed." Sun said sarcastically. "What the actual fuck is happening here? I just watch how he was killed. Shot in the head and he's still fucking alive?!"

Hindi siya umimik. He walks toward us at lumapit siya kay Magnus then his eyes went to me, he gave me a polite smile. He pulls out his hands on his pocket at bigla siyang lumuhod. "I'm sorry," he says.

My eyes widen.

Gulat na gulat si Paine, he even stand up from sitting. Jax is speechless, Rein who usually don't have facial expression is looking as shock as I am at mukhang nagising na ng tuluyan si Sun.
