Fliory
I woke up early and took a bath. I wore a knitted spaghetti strap clothe and a white cardigan partnered with a high waist jean and a flat shoes.
Magjo-job hunting ako, but I wonder what job will suit me since I didn't finish college. I mean, there's a lot of job but with my records, I doubt fast food chain will accept me. I mean, I have a drug addiction past, and a record in a mental hospital, rehabilitation center, and all that.
I sighed. I can already feel that this will be a long day.
Bahala na.
Kinuha ko ang pouch ko at nilagay doon ang phone at atm card ko. I walk toward my door and smiled. I can do this.
They must be pissed but I need to move my ass now.
Agad akong pumasok sa passengers seat.
"Sa Mall nga----."
"Hi."
Napatigil ako sa pagbubukas ng pouch ko when I heard his voice. Agad akong tumingin sa kan'ya and I was right. Si Mr. Mayamang –poging taxi driver.
"Hey," I said and awkwardly smile. "It was you, from last night." Tumango siya. If this guy is a creep, I'm going to throw hands. Not that I'm strong at it but I learned a lot from being in the streets while high.
"Where are you going?" Pinaningkitan ko siya ng mata. I notice how good his English accent is. Well, it's not that it's weird. I mean, he's got a rolex that's worth million in peso.
"Mall, I need to buy some stuff," I told him.
"After that?"
"I don't know. Job hunting, I guess or kakain." Hindi ko mapigilang hindi siya tignan mula sa buhok hanggang sa pangangatawan niya. You can never believe that someone like him work as a taxi driver. He looks fine. Maybe karkador din ito for fun. His muscles are in the right place. He's very masculine in a very good way. His hair looks smooth, his shirts look expensive if you look at it long enough to notice that the fabric isn't just a fabric. It's a very good fabric.
"Done checking me out?" Napakurap ako, I awkwardly grimace and look out from the window. Can't help it, he's not only good looking, he might be a total creep.
"Yeah," I honestly answer. Honestly is the best policy, and hey, there's nothing wrong in checking out a person. They might be someone more than what you see.
Learn that in the street of New York.
"So, what did you finish in college? I might help you look for a job." Napaupo ako ng maayos dahil sa tanong niya. Now, this is helpful.
"Not illegal job, right?" I asked hesitantly.
He turn his head to his side and his eyes met mine as he frown.
"You don't think I'll kidnap you, do you?" he replied back.
Ngumiwi ako at umiling. "No?"
That's when he let out a chuckle and shook his head. "Not anything illegal, and no, I'm not a creep." He gave me a wink.
Well, that's a total creep move right there.
"I didn't really finish my college. I was taking psychology but didn't graduate," I blankly said. I could clearly remember why. It gave me a pain but not the kind of pain that still cages me in the past but just a disappointed kind of pain.
