Fliory

Time goes by so fast.

I went to Philippines to live my life the way I want it be lived. I didn't seek for anything specific, I just wanted to be able to live the way I refuse to do when I was an addict. I never even though I'd be able to find love.

I never thought I would marry this guy. I mentally shake my head with a smile. My love story might never started in a magical way, full of happiness and moments to keep and stories to be told but I think it was what made our relationship stronger, our connection thick and long and strong.

"Hey," I greeted my father's grave stone.

I never felt the same disgust I would always feel when I use to visit here. I use to do that to remind him how shitty he had been, to remind him wherever he is that I'm still living the same nightmare he gave me.

But now, it's my first time coming here sober.

I don't feel a thing anymore. I healed well, as the doctors told me. But I never forgot about him, when there's trigger, the nightmare is there. It's like there's no healing in it, there's just solution to such things cause now, I'm aware he's not there, he's gone. The self awareness I had conquer through my rehab has been the one that get me through.

Healing is such a big word to use when you're a victim of sexual assault, it's more of like learning to live with it.

But that doesn't mean I'm still not fine, I'm fine now, all better, it's just that, we have to admit, there are permanent damage that can't be undone and that doesn't mean I live like a damage person, sad about it, hurt about it-no, more like I go on in life with damage that doesn't hurt me anymore or has any effect.

"I do not forgive you," I whisper. Even after death, I will never let him hear such thing as I forgive him. He lost that luxury the moment he looked at me with desires in his eyes. "Never."

"Hey." Naramdam ko ang kamay ni Magnus sa balikat ko. "Should we go?" tanong ni Magnus.

"Don't you want to say something?" tanong ko sa kan'ya.

I decided to introduce Magnus to him. I don't know, it felt like I needed to. And it's not like he's going to be able to say something but I think Magnus has something to say.

He heaved a deep breath. "I just wanted to tell him how he sucked," Magnus says. "I can never understand such mindsets," he added.

I shrug. "We'll never do," I told him.

I felt Magnus' kisses on my head. "I never want to know."

"Sun!" Umagang umaga rinig ko ang sobrang lakas na sigaw ni Safari sa bahay.

"What?"

"Give me my phone back!" Sigaw ni Safari habang hinahabol si Sun. Paikot-ikot lang sila sa living room.

Katatapos ko lang sa online studying ko. And I'm planning to drink a coffee pero si Safari at Sun agad na nagbabangayan ang nakikita ko.

I roll my eyes. It's been a month since we lived here in New York. Dito sa mansion ni Magnus na binili niya lang nung nagpunta siya rito para sundan ako.

New york is expensive as fuck and I'm amaze he just bought a whole ass house to live in just so he could go after me.

Sinabi ko namang ayos lang na hindi niya ako sundan dito sa New York dahil may responsibiladad pa siya sa Japan but he said it's fine. Hindi ko kasi maiwan ang pag-aaral ko rito. I need to graduate. I want to graduate and work and make money on my own. My mother is paying for my tuition, she insisted to. It's one of the thing she could do for me now so she wants to do it.

My mom stayed in the Philippines with mama and papa. She enjoys their company. Nakatira siya with them. Mama don't mind so as papa kaya hinayaan ko na. It's better na may kasama siya. They seem to be very fond of each other's company.

Pagpasok ko sa kitchen. I saw Mono, Monday, Jax and Rein.

"I'm virgin," rinig kong sabi ni Monday. I heard Jax laugh while Rein is busy cooking.

"What a cutie," he said at pinisil ang pisngi ni Monday.

Monday doesn't mind being teased by Jax and Mono. I think it's one of their routines now.

"Umagang umaga ginaganyan niyo na naman siya," suway ko sa dalawa.

"Lady."

"Fliory."

"Morning." I smiled. "Morning, Monday." Tumingin siya sa akin at tinanguan ako.

That's him. Ever since we lived in here. I never saw Monday laugh or smile or frown. He never shows any emotion. The only thing na pinagkapareho nila ni Rein is Rein don't show any emotion. Ang pinagkaiba nila, I'm aware Rein have one and he doesn't show it often while Monday, I'm not sure what's with him. I'm not even sure if he has emotion. Although he's a human. He must have one. But he doesn't show any sign he'll show it. It's like he's detached from the string of emotion in his body. Maybe there's a medical condition like that. I should search to know what to do. I've been very occupied.

"Why are you staring at Monday?" tanong ni Magnus na kakapasok lang.

Monday looked at me. Nginitian ko siya lang siya.

I lean closer to Magnus nang makalapit siya sa kain to whisper, "I don't know,"

"What do you mean?" takang tanong ni Magnus kaya hinila ko siya palabas ng kitchen.

"He looks detached from his emotion."

Napatango tango si Magnus.

"Nag-aalala nga rin ako. But they said he shows emotions. He feels it. Tagalang wala lang sa mukha niya, probably because of his past." My eyes went to Monday who's sipping coffee with Mono.

"What happened?"

"He was a once a lab rat, they said." ngumiwi si Magnus. "Lab rat isn't such a nice word, he was used as an experiment subject, but he's under a psychologist in Japan. Once a month silang may appointment, they're going to make more appointment when he's used to it. "

"Meron kayong psychologist?" I ask. what a big organization.

Tumango si Magnus.

"Of course. Our work is not a joke. We go to battle and sometimes it has effects on our people mentally. You don't expect them to be so strong when a traumatizing events happen."

"Isn't that why they're there. Because they can endure?"

"Yeah. You must be strong physically and mentally. But we're humans, baby. You don't expect us not to fall." Tumango ako.

"I'm worried."

"He'll be fine," bulong niya at humalik sa leeg ko.

"Good morning! Please get a room." Dumaan si Ayumi sa gitna namin ni Magnus at nagtungo sa kitchen.

Natawa ako at lukot naman ang mukha ni Magnus. Sabay kaming pumasok sa kitchen ulit at kumain.

"Safari! Sun! Stop flirting you two! Come and eat." Sigaw ni Ayumi.

Sanay na rin kami sa bunganga niya. I never thought gan'to siya kaingay.

"We're not flirting!" Asar na sabi ni Safari as she walk in the kitchen. Kasunod naman niya ang nakangising si Sun.

"Ang landi niyo," Jax said nakatanggap tuloy siya ng batok kay Sun.

"Food is ready," sabi ni Rein. Sabay sabay kaming nagumagahan.

As we eat. Hindi ko mapigilang hindi mapangiti habang nakatingin sa mga kasama ko.

I'll spend my life with these people, mostly with Magnus. I'm now contented and happy having them as my family.

I'm looking forward to the future. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of things happening considering this people are with me.

My eyes went to Magnus that's arguing with Sun and Jax and Mono.

I smile softly. I'm looking forward to more adventure with this Hot Billionaire.
