Tasha felt the hot California sun beat down on her as her lungs burned. Her legs felt like jello and the only thing keeping her going was the plotting of Juice's slow, and painful death. How she was talked into training with him, she couldn't tell you; but here she was running five miles with him. When she could finally see the sign for Teller-Morrow, she was silently thanking whatever God was out there.
She noticed Juice slow down so she could catch up, a smug smirk on his face. "How is it you've barely broken a sweat?" she huffed, giving him her best glare at the moment.
He chuckled and shook his head. "Cause I do this everyday." he quipped. "C'mon, one more block and we're done." Rolling her eyes, she pushed herself the last block.
Once on the lot, she went straight for the cooler that was sitting in the corner by the picnic tables and downed half a bottle of water before acknowledging the men that were standing around. Noticing the eyes that were on her, she quirked an eyebrow. "What?" she asked, before downing the rest of the water.
Happy smirked, wrapping his arms around her sweaty waist. "You look like you just ran through hell."
She rolled her eyes and glared at her friend that was chuckling in the corner. "It feels like it. Who runs five miles in a hundred degree weather?"
"Hey, you said you wanted to go for a run with me." he defended himself.
Tasha snorted and threw her empty bottle at him. "You could've said it was five miles, shithead."
"Not my fault you're out of shape." he said. Realizing what he said, he looked at her face, debating which way to run. Watching Happy release her, he knew he had to make a choice and sprinted towards the garage.
Tasha let out a maniacal laugh as she chased him down. Tig watching from the garage smirked seeing Juice zig zag across the lot with Tasha on his heels. Knowing that she needed a leg up, he pulled the car that he had just finished working on out, blocking his next move. That gave her the edge she needed and pounced on him, earning cheers from the others.
Tig laughed and watched proudly as she took him down in an arm bar. "You got anything to say?" she asked.
Juice knew he should just give up and let her win, but having the guys watching stopped him. "Never!" he growled as she put more pressure on his arm.
The guys had moved from the picnic tables to where they were currently wrestling on the pavement. Tasha couldn't hold in her laughter as she heard them betting on which one would come out on top. Shooting a wink towards Happy she flipped Juice, putting him in a tighter hold. She felt slightly bad seeing how red his face was turning, but also knew there was no way he was going to tap out.
Juice bucked beneath her, feeling her weight on his back. He knew all he had to do was get to his knees and he'd have her. But the girl was like a damn spider monkey. Each move he made, she was anticipating. He could feel the her squeeze her legs round him tighter every time he exhaled. He knew he was going to pass out if he didn't get her off of him soon. He heard Chibs yelling at him to just tap out, Tig telling him to take her down and Happy telling Tasha to hold her grip.
His vision began to go darker and he began to panic. "You ready to give up?" she yelled. He could hear her panting and knew that the run did some damage to her legs; but she was pissed with what he said. She'd hold her grip for as long as it took to get him to eat his words. Knowing that there was no way out of it consciously, he tapped out.
The minute Juice tapped, Tasha was off of him. She lay on the ground, panting and wore out. Her body felt like it weighed a thousand pounds. Hearing Juice cough she smirked. "You good?" she huffed.
"I'm good." he croaked back. "Maybe you're not that out of shape."
They both laughed when the guys left one by one, dividing the winnings. "Meet you here tomorrow?" she asked as she finally got to her feet.
He smiled wide and threw an arm around her shoulders, heading back to the clubhouse. "Tomorrow, you're showing me how the hell you do that."
