You had just walked out of the clubhouse to get some air feeling the buzz from the alcohol. You were pissed off with the day and were glad it was over. You had gotten into it with a couple of AB assholes, you had your shit handled but of course in true Sons fashion they had to step in. You were itching for some release of your anger.

You headed over to the ring where Tig and Happy were having a match. You rolled your eyes and watched as your father had broken it up. Grabbing some tape, you started to tape your hands, looking over at Chibs and nodding at him he came over to you.

“You want in?” he asked as he checked to make sure your hands were taped right.

As you nodded you nodded over to Happy. “Him.” you said. Eyeing him down.

“You sure?” he asked eyebrows raised.

“Fuck, yes.” you said as you glared at his smug face. He had been the one to pull you off of the Aryan asshole.

Chibs pulled Happy away from the group and explained what you wanted. He looked you over and smirked, knowing exactly what you were looking for. He knew how you fought, him being the one to train you. He nodded and headed back into the ring.

The guys watched as Happy entered the ring, looking around to see who was going to challenge him. They watched as you climbed into the ring, glaring at Happy. “Oh, shit.” Jax mumbled as he headed towards Chibs. “You’re letting her do this?” he asked incredulously.

Chibs nodded and placed a hand on his shoulder. “She needs this. She’ll be fine.” knowing that you could fight. The guys treated you as if you were breakable, but Chibs and Happy knew different. You were tough as nails and they would have you in their corner any day.

Bobby watched as the match began. His heart in his throat as he watched his little girl go toe to toe with the Tacoma Killer. “He’s gonna kill her.” He said to Jax.

Chibs scoffed and shook his head. “You fellas don’t give her enough credit.” He called out instructions to you as you made a combo, landing a jab then a right hook to Happy’s face. Which landed you a smirk from the killer.

He was instructed not to go easy on you, and he wasn’t about to. He knew you could take it. He made a move towards you and landed a blow to your side. You took it like a champ and landed body shots to Happy’s torso. You were dancing around him. Soon you were smiling knowing he wasn’t taking it easy on you. He had taught you well and you were about to show him just how well.

The guys had seemed to be divided on who they rooted for and you were in your glory hearing the shit talk coming from Tig and Clay as you and Happy went toe to toe. Landing a final Left hook to Happy’s cheek, Chibs stepped in breaking it up. “Alright, hug it out.”

Happy smirked and pulled you in for a hug. “You good?” he asked, looking you over.

You nodded with a smirk that matched his. “I’m good.” you said trying to catch your breath as you headed out of the ring with him. Chibs and Bobby helping you down and untaping your hands. Bobby checking you over to make sure you were alright.

“I can’t believe you did that.” Bobby scolded you, shaking his head.

You swatted away his hands and pulled your head back. “Dad I’m fine. The faster you guys understand that the better.” You said in a huff. You wiped your face with the towel Chibs handed you and walked towards the clubhouse in search of more alcohol. As good as it felt in the ring, your father just brought the cloud right back.

Happy had watched you with Bobby and shook his head. He waited until you were out of ear shot before making his way over to him. “You need to give her space, man.” He said as he slapped Bobby on the back. “The more you try to cage her up, the more she’s gonna do stupid shit like today.”

Bobby sighed and ran a hand over his face. “When did she learn to fight like that?” he asked, looking at Happy.

He shrugged and smirked. “She’s been able to fight for years. Taught her when I was helping Jax and Opie.” He headed off towards the clubhouse and found you sitting at the bar nursing a beer.

“Did good today, kid.” he said as he sat next to you.

Cringing at the nickname you glared at him. “I’m not a fucking kid anymore. Wish you guys would stop calling me that and treating me like one.”

He chuckled and ordered a beer. “Chill out. No matter how old you get, you’ll always be kid to me. Don’t mean I see you as one.” he explained.

You rolled your eyes and took a sip of your beer, before speaking again. “Why’d you pull me off that asshole today?” you asked as you watched him think about the question.

“Cause if I didn’t you and I both know what would've happened. You don’t need that on your hands.” he said matter of fact. “You don’t need some bullshit charge.”

You nodded and smiled. You never thought of that. He was trying to protect you from jail time, not trying to protect you from something he knew you could handle. You threw your arms around his neck, “Thanks, Hap.” you said as you kissed his cheek. “This is why I like you the most.”

He hugged you back tightly, “Ditto.” It was rare that Happy showed any affection towards anyone besides his mom, so you were soaking up whatever he was willing to shell out. He let you go and nudged your shoulder, pointing his head towards your dad.

You sighed and rolled your eyes knowing he was telling you to talk to your dad. You did as he suggested. As you walked up Bobby eyed you up and down and went to speak, but you stopped him. “Dad, I’m fine. I can take worse hits than that.” you said as you sat on the couch beside him. “You gotta stop treating me like I’m still a child.”

He sighed and ran a hand over his face. “I’m sorry sweetheart. It’s hard. You’ll always be my little girl.”

You smiled and rested on your shoulder. “I know, but you need to loosen the apron strings pops. I can take care of myself. Happy and Chibs made sure of that.”

He looked over at Happy. “So what’s the deal with you two? I saw the way he hugged you back.”

You rolled your eyes with a chuckle. “He’s my favorite Uncle. He lets me do the shit you won’t.”

Bobby chuckled, “So I guys you know where to hide the bodies too?”

You sat up and winked at your dad before standing and heading back over to the bar.
