“Hap, I’m not going.” she said as she sunk back down onto the couch. She had been arguing with her best friend since he showed up at her place that night. He had been asking her to go to one of the club’s parties for months now, and every time she turned him down.
“C’mon. It’ll be fun.” he said as he pulled her up off the couch. He wasn’t taking no for answer again. “We can do this one of two ways.” he challenged.
She raised her brow, “You’re threats fall on deaf ears Lowman.” she snorted. “You know damn well you don’t scare me.”
A true fact that Happy still couldn’t wrap his mind around. He intimidated everyone. But this firecracker? Not even a flinch. Which is probably why she had become the one person Happy could be completely open with. “Why won’t you go?” he asked as he searched her face for an answer.
She huffed and pulled him to sit on the couch with her. “Listen, I know the types of women that go to theses things. I’m not like them, not even close.” she started. He scoffed at her reasoning and before he could interrupt her she held her hand up to him, giving him a look that made his blood run cold. He wasn’t scared of anything… Except her. “You can tell me I’m wrong all you want, but deep down you know it’s true.”
He knew it was. She wasn’t like any of the women that pranced around at those parties. She was just shy of 5’4” and was more than a little curvy. But she was beautiful. She had big, bright green eyes that sparkled. Long, flowing blonde hair that reached the middle of her back, a smile that could knock you on your ass and those luscious plump lips. He again, pulled her from the couch, this time picking her up over his shoulder.
“Hap, put me down! You’re gonna throw your damn back out!” she squealed as he headed for her bedroom.
He shook his head and laid a smack onto her ample ass, “Shut up.” he said as he reached the bedroom and tossed her onto the bed, turning towards her closet. He grabbed a dress and threw it at her. “Put this on.”
She looked at him with a scowl and shook her head. “If I’m going, I ain’t wearing that.” she said as she got up from the bed and walked over to her dresser and pulled out a pair of dark wash jeans and a top that matched. She looked at him expectantly, “You gonna leave me to change, or are you gonna stand there and watch?” she asked with annoyance.
“Well if you’re offering…” he said with a smirk. Ducking as she threw a pillow at his head. He laughed as he walked out of the bedroom and headed for the kitchen to grab a beer while he waited.

Twenty minutes later she came out of her room wearing the outfit she picked, little makeup that made her eyes pop and her hair in loose curls. Her top was black and low cut to show off her amazing cleavage, which Happy was having a hard time not staring at. “Really?” she asked as she was puttin on her heeled ankle boots. He just smiled at her as she shook her head at him. “C’mon, pervert. Let’s get this over with.” she said as she grabbed her leather jacket off of the hook. He followed her out the door and used his key to lock up.

When they rolled into the lot, the party was already in full swing. Her nerves were on overload and she was visibly nervous. She had only met a couple of his brothers. Kozik, who had become one of her closest friends, along with Chibs and Quinn. This would be the first time she would meet the rest of them. She felt Happy’s arm slip around her shoulders and led her through the crowd and inside.
Her senses were overloaded from the loud classic rock that was playing to the smell of weed, cigarettes and stale beer. She smiled wide as she saw the familiar face of Kozik at the bar. He was laughing about something that the really cute younger guy had said. She eyed the younger man. He had beautiful caramel skin, was toned and had a smile that would make any woman’s panties soaking wet.
When they reached the bar, Kozik saw her and jumped from his seat. “Angel face!” he all but shrieked with excitement. “Hap, finally got you to come.” he said as he pulled her in for a bear hug.
She giggled and wrapped her arms around him just as tight. “He did. Buy me a drink, Kozzy.” she said as she broke free from his embrace. He nodded and order her a shot of tequila and a beer. “You trying to get me drunk?” she asked him with an eyebrow raise.
He chuckled and looked at Happy who also had a smirk. “Drunk Tash, is fun Tash.” he said with a shrug.
She rolled her eyes and slammed the shot. “Ya know, you two are gonna be the death of me one day.” she said as she took a sip from her beer.
She soon felt a little less nervous after the liquid courage and soon started to relax, that was until she felt unfamiliar hands around her hips. She grabbed the unfamiliar hand and twisted it as she spun to see a man with wild, ice blue eyes with just as wild curly dark hair, writhing in pain. “What the fuck you think you’re doing?” she growled.
Tig’s face was a mix of pain, pleasure and awe as he looked into the eyes of the woman he had just had his hands around. Happy noticed what was happening and quickly defused the issue. “Tash, this is Tig,” he said as he placed his hand over hers.
Tig smiled as he stood up from the bar she had him pressed against. “So you’re the famous Tasha we hear so much about?” he said with a warm smile.
Her face went ten shades of red and hung her head in embarrassment. “Shit, I’m sorry.” she said softly.
“Nah, it’s all good, doll.” he said with a smile. “That was hot.” he chuckled.
She rolled her eyes and smiled. Chibs coming up to them and placing a hand on her shoulder, “See ye met Tiggy.” he chuckled. “Keep an eye on that one, lass.” he said.
She nodded and smiled warmly at the Scot. “Noted.” she said with a chuckle. Chibs wrapped his arm around her shoulders and lead her out to the dance floor. Where he led her into a dance. She was actually having a good time. She didn’t quite understand why she had refused to come before.

Happy and kozik sat at the bar and watched their friend dance with the Scot with a huge smile on her face. Juice joined them and watched her. Her hips moving with the music, smiling as the scot twirled her around the dance floor. He was hypnotized. “She with you?” he asked Happy.
Happy’s eyebrows raised as he looked at his younger brother. “Why you asking?” he asked.
Juice shrugged, “She doesn’t seem like your type.” he said as he took a pull from his beer.
Happy and kozik eyed their younger brother. “What’s that supposed to mean?” he asked.
“She’s just not like the croweaters you have fun with, that’s all.” he said with another shrug.
Happy rolled his eyes and leaned back against the bar. “She ain’t a croweater. She’d tear you apart if she had the chance.”
Juice’s eyes went wide with curiosity. He had to admit that although she wasn’t like most of the women that hung around the club, she was pretty. “That a challenge?”
“No.” both Kozik and Happy had growled in unison. Although they had begged her to join them at the clubhouse to have some fun, they were dead set against her getting involved with a Son. They had vowed to keep her safe and that is exactly what they planned on doing. She had been through enough in her life that they were damned if she was going to get pulled into the life of an old lady, or worse, be treated like a sweetbutt or crow eater.
Tig moved from his spot at the bar with a smile and headed over to where the Scot had taken Tasha on the dance floor and cut in, just as a slower song had began to play. Chibs nodded and headed back to the bar. “How’d you get her to agree to come?” Chibs asked. “Last time I saw her she swore she would never step foot in here.”
Happy smirked and shrugged. “Got my ways.”

Tasha was having an amazing time dancing with tig when she felt eyes on her. She looked over and saw three young tight women wearing next to no clothes giggling at her. She immediately began to clam up and broke away from Tig. “I’m gonna grab a beer.” she said as she began to walk away, as she walked passed the three women she heard their words. “Looks like tubby thinks she has the guys wrapped around her fingers. Think she needs a lesson in how things work around here.”
Tasha’s hands clenched into fists and she’s trying hard to reign in her anger. She reaches the bar and Kozik notices right away that she’s not herself. “You ok, angel face?”
She smiled half heartedly and nodded. “Yea, just get me another shot… wait.. Make that three.”
Kozik’s brows knit together and nods as he orders the shots. “Did Tig do something?” he asked as he pushed himself away from the bar.
She chuckled, “No, Kozzy. Tig was fine. It was the chirping of skinny bitches that pissed me off.” she said.
Kozik looked over to where Tasha was glaring. “What’d they say?” he asked as he handed her her shots.
She slammed one back and sighed. “It’s nothing Koz, I’m gonna get a cab and head home. I shouldn’t have come to begin with.”
“You sure?” he asked as he wrapped an arm around her. At her nod he huffed, “If it’s what you want to do, I’ll get a prospect to take you home.”
“Thanks, Kozzy.” she said softly as she kissed his cheek. He called for the prospect and gave him strict instructions to take her home and to make sure she got inside ok before he left. He nodded in understanding and walked Tasha out to the van.
Happy watched as Tasha left and walked over to Kozik. “What the hell happened?” he asked with a growl.
“Some of the croweaters ran their mouths and she wanted to leave.” he explained. Happy’s face fell. The Tasha he knew would never take anyone’s crap. He had promised her she would have a great time, and for the most part she was. Up until those skanks ran their mouths.
He rushed out the door just on time to see the van start to pull out of the lot. He stopped the prospect and opened Tasha’s door. “Out.” he said firmly.
Tasha glared at him. “Watch your tone. I ain’t going back in there.” she said with a scowl.
Happy rolled his eyes and pulled her gently out of the van. “Why do you have to make everything difficult?”
“Why do you have to be a dick?” she spat back. “Just let me go home. I should never have showed up.”
Happy stopped dead in his tracks. To say he was frustrated was an understatement, “I don’t get you.” he huffed. “You’re this kick ass woman who is sexy as hell and a total badass, but can’t handle some little skank running her mouth?”
Tasha stood there shell shocked. “Wait… what did you just say?” she asked with bewilderment.
He smirked as he took her hands in his, “You heard me, little girl.”
She searched his face, “You just called me sexy.” she said in almost a whisper. He nodded and pulled her to him, slipping his arms around her. “I don’t even know what to say to that.”
Happy chuckled and leaned down, placing a kiss on her luscious lips. “Then don’t say anything, but you need to handle those skanks.”
She smiled wide and winked at him. “Let’s go killer, we got some shit to handle.”
“That’s my girl.” he said as he pulled her back towards the clubhouse.
