12 | Let Me Go!

Walking up in a strange but comfortable bed I sit up quickly alarmed by the unfamiliarity but I calm down when I realize I'm in William's bedroom even though he's not in the bed. I turn on my phone to see its 8:00 am. 

I walk out the door expecting to see him but he is nowhere to be found. I try to catch his scent to see if he's still at the pack but I don't. My phone rings stopping me from thinking about it further.  

"Hey Alice" I grab a mug from the cabinet.

"HOW COULD YOU!" I hear her panic.

"Alice, what are you talking about, what did I do?" 

"Why didn't you warn me yesterday when we talked" 

"Warn...warn you about what?" I ask in complete confusion

"You pack attacking ours!!" I hear the faint sound of glass shattering when I accidentally drop the mug in my hand. 

"WHAT?!...what are..." The line goes dead.

I feel like my insides have been shattered, I feel worried about my new pack and William as they go into battle courtesy of the mate bond and my growing affection with this pack but the strongest feeling that overlaps my worry is betrayal. He told me he wouldn't attack my old pack and what does he do as soon as we mark each other and I won't be able to live without him, he attacks it. 

I run to my room to grab some clothes, I leave the apartment running paying to attention to the people around me and I shift as soon as I step out of the pack house. I grab the backpack on my mouth as I run over to my old pack. 

Running as fast I can trying to get there to stop William from hurting any more people. I hide behind a tree once I get there and change into the clothes I brought once I shift back. I run towards Williams scent and if I can sense him he can sense me.

When I find him he is towering over someone in wolf form.

"WILLIAM STOP IT" I try to run to him but two of his warriors grab me by each arm they both whisper 'sorry Luna' but keep me in place. William turns to me with his golden eyes. 

"What are you doing, you promised you wouldn't attack my pack" I yell at him the person under him leaves as he is distracted.

"This isn't your pack anymore?" he growls through a mind link. 

"That's not the point, but I sure as hell don't feel safe with you anymore" I mind link back so that the warriors don't listen I struggle to get them off of me. 

"Let Me Go!" I move around to try to get out of their grip.

"I'm sorry Luna" they apologize again but they still don't let me go.

I feel a strong bold of anger come on through my body with a surge of electricity I can't explain. All I know is that its overwheling feeling of power that I start to lose consciousness. I feel myself go limp in the warrior's arms, I hear William screaming my name as I go into the darkness.

I open my eyes to see I'm in Wiliams room again, damn was all of that a dream? 

I feel nerves but their not mine, I look around and see him sitting on the chair. By the look on his face and his nerves that I feel I start to think that it wasn't a dream. I reach for my phone to see my call history and see Alice's call at 8:05 am confirming that the whole thing happened but what was that feeling before I passed out? 

"What am I doing here William?" he stands up and walks towards me but I raise my hands to stop from coming closer. 

"you live here" he answers confused with my question.
